About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, which has given me extensive experience in caring for them. In addition, I’ve volunteered at the Aurora Animal Shelter and the Animal Friends Alliance in Fort Collins, CO. At the Animal Friends Alliance, I received specialized training to work with "purple" dogs—those who are mildly reactive, easily overstimulated, difficult to manage, or have bad manners. This experience has given me the skills to work with dogs that require a little extra care, and I’m more than capable of handling them! I also have experience administering medication to dogs! I currently work full-time for an event company, so most days I will be gone for up to 8 hours. I primarily work in the evenings, which means I’m available to care for your pet during the day and can return at night just in time to cuddle with them as we sleep. However, if you're looking for all-day care, my days off are Monday and Tuesday! When caring for a client's pet, I make sure to follow any instructions provided to the letter. I understand that the client knows their pet best, and adhering to their guidance ensures the pet is as comfortable as possible while their owner is away and helps keep the client satisfied with my care. If no specific instructions are given, and I have any questions regarding the pet’s needs, I will reach out to the client for clarification. This ensures I create a safe and comfortable environment for both myself and the pet I’m looking after.

About: I’ve cared for pets since childhood, raising both cats and dogs of my own and helping neighbors, friends, and family with theirs. I have experience with puppies as young as 15 weeks, energetic adults, and senior dogs requiring gentle, patient care (I've also raised two cats from kittens to adulthood). As a stay-at-home mom (child is two) and small business owner who works from home, my schedule is very flexible and allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I provide a safe and welcoming home environment with no other pets, so your dog will have my full attention. Our home has two stories and a fenced in backyard - so plenty of room to play! I can easily crate your pup if you provide the crate, and I’m happy to follow any routines or special instructions. I only accept pets who are comfortable around children, as my two-year-old, who has been raised around animals from infancy and is always supervised, loves animals and is a regular part of our daily routine during bookings, so your dog will enjoy extra love and company in a family-friendly setting. If I'm looking after your cat, you can expect the same attention to care for their routines and/or special instructions (admittedly, if your cat's a snuggler, I can't help but to have my allergies take a backseat!).

I especially appreciated that my main request of ensuring the dogs got at least 30 minute walks twice a day was fulfilled and most days Nicole would even go above and beyond with walking them longer than 30 minutes.
