About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, which has given me extensive experience in caring for them. In addition, I’ve volunteered at the Aurora Animal Shelter and the Animal Friends Alliance in Fort Collins, CO. At the Animal Friends Alliance, I received specialized training to work with "purple" dogs—those who are mildly reactive, easily overstimulated, difficult to manage, or have bad manners. This experience has given me the skills to work with dogs that require a little extra care, and I’m more than capable of handling them! I also have experience administering medication to dogs! I currently work full-time for an event company, so most days I will be gone for up to 8 hours. I primarily work in the evenings, which means I’m available to care for your pet during the day and can return at night just in time to cuddle with them as we sleep. However, if you're looking for all-day care, my days off are Monday and Tuesday! When caring for a client's pet, I make sure to follow any instructions provided to the letter. I understand that the client knows their pet best, and adhering to their guidance ensures the pet is as comfortable as possible while their owner is away and helps keep the client satisfied with my care. If no specific instructions are given, and I have any questions regarding the pet’s needs, I will reach out to the client for clarification. This ensures I create a safe and comfortable environment for both myself and the pet I’m looking after.

About: I’ve cared for pets since childhood, raising both cats and dogs of my own and helping neighbors, friends, and family with theirs. I have experience with puppies as young as 15 weeks, energetic adults, and senior dogs requiring gentle, patient care (I've also raised two cats from kittens to adulthood). I’ve personally walked through the joy of raising pets and the heartbreak of saying goodbye to four beloved dogs and one cat in their senior years, which gives me a special compassion for aging pets. As a stay-at-home mom (child is two) and small business owner who works from home, my schedule is very flexible and allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or cuddle breaks, I can give pets consistent attention and care throughout the day. I provide a safe and welcoming home environment with no other pets, so your dog will have my full attention. Our home has two stories and a fenced in backyard - so plenty of room to play! I can easily crate your pup if you provide the crate, and I’m happy to follow any routines or special instructions. I only accept pets who are comfortable around children, as my two-year-old, who has been raised around animals from infancy and is always supervised, loves animals and is a regular part of our daily routine during bookings, so your dog will enjoy extra love and company in a family-friendly setting. If I'm looking after your cat, you can expect the same attention to care for their routines and/or special instructions (admittedly, if your cat's a snuggler, I can't help but to have my allergies take a backseat!).

I previously worked at a doggy day care, dog grooming for petsmart and private salons, and foster all kinds of animals. I've spent most my life caring for animals and nothing makes me happier. I have owned all sorts of animals from snakes to hedgehogs to cats to stick-bugs. I have a love and respect for all creatures and want nothing more than to be surrounded by animals any chance I can get. I am personally at my happiest when I'm around some sort of animal. Recently moved to Colorado and would like to hang out with some furry friends while I adjust 🐾 I believe safety and trust and the top two most important things when working with animals (and pet parents). With my previous training in working with dogs I am familiar with all sorts of safety measures to keep both pets and I safe! From safe handling to experience in crate training and muzzles for walking, I'm familiar and confident in doing what it takes to set up your pet for success! Not only do I have the skill set of keeping animals in my care safe, i am also dedicated to building trust with pet parents. I am communicative and follow instructions well. I love providing updates while I'm caring for pets, especially pictures of all the fun we're up to. I do what I can to ensure everyone feels nothing but secure while I have their babies in my care! Over the years, I’ve gained experience dog sitting a variety of breeds, including high-energy Australian Shepherds as well as many other types of dogs with different needs and personalities. I’ve also spent time as a foster dog mom, caring for dogs ranging from small Chihuahuas to large Great Pyrenees. My schedule is 100% flexible so I can easily adapt to the needs of your pet! My schedule allows me to be consistent with feeding times, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I focus on keeping each pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, whether I’m caring for them in my home or theirs. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions closely - feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed - and keep their environment calm and familiar. I’m very respectful of your space and aim to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away.
