About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, which has given me extensive experience in caring for them. In addition, I’ve volunteered at the Aurora Animal Shelter and the Animal Friends Alliance in Fort Collins, CO. At the Animal Friends Alliance, I received specialized training to work with "purple" dogs—those who are mildly reactive, easily overstimulated, difficult to manage, or have bad manners. This experience has given me the skills to work with dogs that require a little extra care, and I’m more than capable of handling them! I also have experience administering medication to dogs! I currently work full-time for an event company, so most days I will be gone for up to 8 hours. I primarily work in the evenings, which means I’m available to care for your pet during the day and can return at night just in time to cuddle with them as we sleep. However, if you're looking for all-day care, my days off are Monday and Tuesday! When caring for a client's pet, I make sure to follow any instructions provided to the letter. I understand that the client knows their pet best, and adhering to their guidance ensures the pet is as comfortable as possible while their owner is away and helps keep the client satisfied with my care. If no specific instructions are given, and I have any questions regarding the pet’s needs, I will reach out to the client for clarification. This ensures I create a safe and comfortable environment for both myself and the pet I’m looking after.
