About: I’ve lived with and cared for all types of dogs and cats since I was a young child. I care for friends and family member’s pets throughout the years. My family and I love animals and are dedicated to providing a caring and fun environment for your pet. I work from home and have plenty of time to walk and play with pups. We love our pups and kitty and walk Mollie and Hollie at least a mile everyday. We have a large park with a lake full of interesting smells for pups to explore. We are used to dietary restrictions and can adapt to any personality. You can drop your pet off and relax knowing they are cared for by a loving family. I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to take multiple walks a day and play in the yard with your pup. We feed our animals in the morning and evening and we all snuggle together on the bed at night. I have a fenced in yard and a dog door so your pup may go in and out as often as they like. Some pups can’t figure out the dog door so I am here to let them in and out as needed. We take at least one long walk a day and play fetch in the yard. Pups are welcomed to sleep in our room if they are more comfortable there.
“Heather and her husband took great care of our fearful pups. They were communicative, patient, friendly and attentive. During the stay they send many pictures and updates, which we appreciate very much. Highly recommend!”

“My gsp loved being at Daviana’s! Our pups got along so well, and she made my pup feel right at home. Super communicative and flexible with scheduling. Will book with her again!”

“Andrea was wonderful and super sweet with my anxious pup. He warmed up to her in no time and has gotten comfortable in her care. She sent many pictures keeping me updating on how he was doing - thank you so much!”

“Very professional, understanding of our large dog’s fears and nervousness. Took photos of both dogs, walks, treats…couldn’t ask for better. Would highly recommend!”

“Briana took Nessie last minute for the day when I realized we may be out longer than anticipated. She was extremely responsive and understanding and we would absolutely use her again if needed! Nessie came home happy and tired pup!”

“So thrilled my pup and I found Micki! I’m so appreciative of all the pictures and videos she’ll send of him when I’m at work. I can’t always respond but she always sends more. Looking forward to using her often.”

About: I’ve worked with dogs my entire life and currently work as a handler at a large boarding facility while continuing my education in canine training and behavior. I specialize in active, high-energy dogs and understand that every dog has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and enriching environment where dogs can relax, play, and feel at home. I have experience with multi-dog households, boarding, walks, basic obedience, and dogs that need a little extra patience or management. Whether your dog loves adventure or prefers a calmer routine, I tailor care to fit both the dog and owner’s needs. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first. I work with dogs both professionally and in my personal life, and i structure my schedule around pet care and make sure every dog gets the time, exercise, and attention they need. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, boarding, or active play, I focus on keeping dogs comfortable, fulfilled, and well cared for while their owners are away. During drop in's i ensure your dog is fed per their dietary requirements, have plenty of water, and have ample time to use the restroom. On walks i make sure they get a good long outing and lots of good sniffs and positive mental stimulation to ensure a relaxed dog once they get home.
About: We've had our dog, Arlo, for four wonderful years since he was rescued in Texas. Both of us grew up with dogs, so we've always had a love for them. Arlo was a "code-red" rescue due to his fear of humans, but it's been incredibly rewarding watching him grow more comfortable and become a loving part of our home. He’s an amazing learner, and we’ve even taught him many tricks along the way! About our home: My fiancé and I both work from home, so we’re around almost all the time while your dog stays with us. We have a medium-sized fenced backyard where your dog can explore and play. We also have plenty of room inside to separate the dogs if they need their own space. Autumn has experience working with HABIT, a program with school social work dogs, and she absolutely loved it. Before your dog’s stay, feel free to share any details about their daily routine, special behaviors, digging habits, or food restrictions so we can make sure they’re comfortable. As a heads-up, since neither of us are professional dog carers, we’re unable to accept dogs that are aggressive, overly reactive, or need intensive medical care. My fiancé and I both work from home full time so there will almost always be someone home. On the weekends we may run some errands occasionally but aren’t ever gone for more than a couple hours because of Arlo. We have a medium size fenced in backyard that your dog is welcome to roam while they are here. Arlo is a fairly energetic playmate and will happily chase around the backyard with any dog willing to play along. Inside we have plenty of space for separation/decompression if needed for any reason. Communication is something that we value. We are very responsive and will send updates with photos of your pup during its stay.
“Heather is so nice! The house & yard accommodations are terrific with plenty of space for the puppies to run and play. Our dog loved spending time at Heathers and looks forward to going again next week!! Thank you!!”

She sent me many pictures!🥰 I also appreciated that she took the time to make sure the dogs got along and fortunately they all did very well together! 🙂 Would 100% use her again whenever I am back in this area 10/10.”

About: Have been running a pet sitting business full-time for about 10 years. I'm available week days and weekends. Love to get out and walk every day. I'm available most holidays, also. I'm retired so home most of the time. My husband is a dog lover also, so will be helping as well. We bought a king size bed so will have lots of room for sleeping with the dogs curled in! My own dog is a senior dog. He is a yorkie and very mellow. Don't know how much longer he'll be with us but he gets along with all the dogs that come and stay! Have a fenced yard with grass. Also, have a doggie door for them if they're used to using one! I'm retired so have lots of time to spend with your dogs. Also like to read so pets can be close on a regular basis. I have one small, senior dog. Am retired so home most of the time. I have a small, fenced back yard and a doggie door.
About: my current dog has suffered with an abusive owner before I rescued him and before he did not want me to touch him or pet him but now he never wants to be let go! lol I personally think it will help me so much to be more responsible with my daily routines and to learn also to be an adult now that I'm 18. But of course there is nothing to worry about because I will take care of your dogs like they were my own! Your dog gets a secure, loving space at my home with constant supervision, a fenced yard, and my full attention the entire stay. He/She will enjoy their time here at my home.
“I literally found the best dog sitter. I couldn’t ask for someone better. She is exceptional at communication, gives frequent updates with photos and videos and loves your puppy like her own. Highly recommend”

About: I have experience with all age groups. I love to spoil them. My husband has said that dogs can sense a dog lover. All dogs need love. We do not have any pets right now and I miss them terribly. Our dogs were spoiled with love. I currently work full time, usually swing shift (2:00-12:30) a vacation relief line with my job. I will have my husband available for support since he is retired. I/we have a big fenced in back yard so they can run around and play. There are plenty of toys for your kiddos to enjoy.

Lakeshore dog parents share their Rover experiences
My puppy, Barkley, is always so excited to visit Holli’s house. He can barely contain his excitement every time we turn down Holli’s street because he knows exactly where we are going. It makes me feel great knowing how much Barkley enjoys going. Holli is a great sitter and I would recommend her to anyone!

Rebekah went above and beyond our expectations. She anticipated our needs, eased our minds, and my dog was excited to go back to see her the next 2 days as well. She took great care of our German Shepherd, constantly kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and texts, and followed every little instruction and ask we had. She is the best sitter!

Michaela was great. We met outside. She made sure our pups were comfortable with each other. On that day it was particularly hot and she made sure Nova got plenty of water, and monitored her to know when to bring her inside. I heard Tally and nova played non stop! So was a perfect day in Novas eyes!
