We've had our dog, Arlo, for four wonderful years since he was rescued in Texas. Both of us grew up with dogs, so we've always had a love for them. Arlo was a "code-red" rescue due to his fear of humans, but it's been incredibly rewarding watching him grow more comfortable and become a loving part of our home. He’s an amazing learner, and we’ve even taught him many tricks along the way! About our home: My fiancé and I both work from home, so we’re around almost all the time while your dog stays with us. We have a medium-sized fenced backyard where your dog can explore and play. We also have plenty of room inside to separate the dogs if they need their own space. Autumn has experience working with HABIT, a program with school social work dogs, and she absolutely loved it. Before your dog’s stay, feel free to share any details about their daily routine, special behaviors, digging habits, or food restrictions so we can make sure they’re comfortable. As a heads-up, since neither of us are professional dog carers, we’re unable to accept dogs that are aggressive, overly reactive, or need intensive medical care.
