WFH couple with playful dog
We've had our dog, Arlo, for four wonderful years since he was rescued in Texas. Both of us grew up with dogs, so we've always had a love for them. Arlo was a "code-red" rescue due to his fear of humans, but it's been incredibly rewarding watching him grow more comfortable and become a loving part of our home. He’s an amazing learner, and we’ve even taught him many tricks along the way! About our home: My fiancé and I both work from home, so we’re around almost all the time while your dog stays with us. We have a medium-sized fenced backyard where your dog can explore and play. We also have plenty of room inside to separate the dogs if they need their own space. Autumn has experience working with HABIT, a program with school social work dogs, and she absolutely loved it. Before your dog’s stay, feel free to share any details about their daily routine, special behaviors, digging habits, or food restrictions so we can make sure they’re comfortable. As a heads-up, since neither of us are professional dog carers, we’re unable to accept dogs that are aggressive, overly reactive, or need intensive medical care.

Daniel and Autumn were fantastic with Lucky! They provided lots of updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Lucky was a little timid at first, but they were patient, understanding, and helped him feel comfortable. It was clear they genuinely cared about him, and we knew he was in great hands. We’d happily book with them again!

Abend had a wonderful time with Danny and Autumn. They took great care of him while we were away on vacation with lots of pics and updates. They are awesome and very caring. My dog misses Arlo. Thanks guys will definitely book with you again!

This is the longest we've ever had anyone look after Cubs - 10 days - and we had absolutely no worries leaving Cubs in the care of Daniel & Autumn! We loved all the updates that we got each day and Cubs had the best time with Arlo. It's so reassuring to know that Cubs was with a lovely family while we were away and they will be our first choice next time we need a sitter!
Autumn and Daniel were great! They sent daily updates with photos and made sure that I knew my dog with in good hands!

Schedule
My fiancé and I both work from home full time so there will almost always be someone home. On the weekends we may run some errands occasionally but aren’t ever gone for more than a couple hours because of Arlo.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a medium size fenced in backyard that your dog is welcome to roam while they are here. Arlo is a fairly energetic playmate and will happily chase around the backyard with any dog willing to play along. Inside we have plenty of space for separation/decompression if needed for any reason. Communication is something that we value. We are very responsive and will send updates with photos of your pup during its stay.
Pets
A typical day
We love taking walks in our neighborhood, playing fetch in the backyard, and finding exciting enrichment toys for Arlo. My fiancé loves taking photos of dogs so you will receive plenty while your dog is in our care.
