“I would highly recommend!! Our dogs, as well as our home was taken care of perfectly. I know we will have no worries leaving our pups with them in the future!!”

2. Morgana M.

“Morgan was great with our dog! We needed a last minute sitter while we were on vacation and she was able to help us out and stay at our house with our dog who is a very anxious, clingy and senior dog. She made it a smooth transition for him and took him for walks, gave cuddles and gave him more attention than we do with a toddler at home! Morgan gave us updates and sent pictures to let us know how he was doing. We will definitely use Morgan again and recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great sitter!”

3. Mark R.

“Mark was a perfect pet sitter. He gave our dogs lots of attention including walks and belly rubs. He even got down on the floor to pet them. He would send a picture every time he went to our house to update us. He’s very professional and takes the responsibility of the dogs seriously. He loves dogs and it shows in how he treats them. We would definitely have him watch our dogs again.”

4. Sophia K.

“Pup was happy when we returned, house was clean. More photos would have been appreciated while we were away to see what the two of them did for fun.”

5. Olivia T.

“Olivia did a great job with our gentle giant Raven. She stayed two nights, sent photos and provided updates. House was left in great condition too!”

6. Leann B.

“our pets love Leann!! she cares for them like they are her own and I know when we are traveling that we will get photos and she’s always quick to respond. we will definitely book with her again!”

7. Kelly C.

“Kelly was such a great sitter for our very protective dog Luna. She truly cared about how Luna was feeling and took her time to make sure Luna felt comfortable. We got consistent updates with pictures and felt right at ease on our vacation knowing Luna was getting the best care possible. We will certainly be requesting her on our next vacation as well as recommending her to our friends. Thank you so much Kelly!!”

About: Getting involved in caring for dogs has been an absolute joy in our personal lives along with our family life and easily one of the best decisions we have ever made! We have found over the last 4 years of caring for dogs, in all aspects of the dog care world, very rewarding! We are now fully transitioned away from boarding and are concentrating our efforts on coming to you! We both work from home and are very flexible with our availability. Comfort and safety are of the utmost importance to us for you and your pup! We look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! ALSO: I do have a promo code for first time Rover users! Message me for details! We both work from home. We love dogs and can let them go potty and walks pretty much whenever it is nice outside. When we do go out the pups are kept in the laundry room with plenty of water. We have 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! We also have 4 kids that absolutely love dogs and they would get plenty of exercise.

9. Joan B.

“I almost don't want to give Joan such a glowing review because then I will have to share her with others rather than hog her all to myself. But, she is so sensational that I must. If you are like me and are totally freaked out about leaving your furry critters at home while you go on vacation, and you are also freaked out about trying a house sitter for the first time, then look no further. Joan is your person (well, she is now my person, but, I suppose I can share.....) Joan is amazing times 10. She is Mary Poppins, Dr. Dolittle, and a bottle of calm zen all mixed together to give you the perfect, and I mean PERFECT housesitter. She snuggles, walks, and runs with your pets. Heck, she will even paint their picture if you book it. She washed my sheets, emptied my dishwasher, took out the garbage, and left my house cleaner than I left it for her. She sent me photos to calm my kids (well, they were actually for me, but, I'm using my kids as an excuse.) She texted me updates. She even made cute little Hamster salads for my daughter's Hamster to eat for lunch. For the first time EVER I was able to go away and not worry about my pets. For the first time EVER I was able to truly enjoy a vacation. I will never be able to go anywhere now unless Joan is available to housesit my pets. I can't give her enough praise. She's sensational. Thank you so much Joan, from the bottom of my heart.”

10. Paige V.

“Paige did great with Breck. He took to her immediately and there was no anxiety from him when I returned. She left the house exactly the way I left it. Already booked another stay!”

11. Angela L.

“Angela did a great job taking care of our two big dogs. She was communicative and kept us updated. By the end of the five days she was with our dogs, I could tell from the pictures they were totally relaxed with her. I felt lucky to have found her. She is responsible, compassionate and professional.”

12. Mya B.

“Thanks alot much appreciated Mya for doing everything expected over and beyond too. I want to have you take care again if u r willing to ok much appreciated”

13. Sandi L.
About: I currently have a senior Yorkie named Genji. I enjoy taking care of dogs and spending quality time with them. In the past I have volunteered as a dog walker at the animal humane society and enjoyed every part of it. I am looking to occupy my free time and make some extra income. I also work a m-f 8-5pm job, but am more than happy to drop in or stay overnight with your fur baby. I am currently working full time but am free on most weekends, I would be available to drop in before or after work to check in on your dog or home. I am also open to staying in your home if needed. I am trustworthy and reliable when it comes to home care, I always clean up after myself and leave the space tidy afterwards. I will make sure to take your dog out for potty breaks every 3-4 hours to prevent accidents in the home.

14. Elizabeth & Erik T.

“Elizabeth was great with our weird schedule, both our dogs were cared for and she was flexible with what we needed! Would definitely use her again for our pups.”

15. Daniela A.

“Daniela was prompt and had exceptional communication! Our lil boy was very comfortable with her! She was great and will be using her again for sure!”

16. Olivia A.

“Cooper looked so happy when we got home!”

17. Leslie K.

“Leslie is fantastic. Henrik loves her, and she’s always there when we need her, even when it’s last minute sometimes. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter in the Hudson area!”

18. Emilie B.

“Four large dogs is no easy task! Emilie took great care of them for a whole week. Updates with pics and vids. They all felt right at home and warmed up to her right away.”

19. Katia M.
“Katia may be new to Rover but I can assure that she's not new to pet sitting! She's my 18 year old next door neighbor, and she's been watching my dogs and cats for YEARS. One of my dogs, Abby, is now 9 years old, but when she was younger, she was a handful. She's a border collie/springer spaniel mix with tons of energy but Katia can handle her with a breeze. Abby can be dog-reactive but Katia can handle this as well. Katia is extremely reliable, dependent, and loves all animals as if they were her own. She'll spend oodles of time with your pets showering them with love. If you want your dog(s) to go for a walk, Katia can handle all three of my dogs at once so I'm confident that she can handle your dogs. If your pets need medication, she knows how to administer them. She's extremely bright and detailed that way. She'll also text pictures and updates so you know that everything is going smoothly at home. Needless to say, I highly recommend Katia M. to watch your dogs and/or cats!”

20. Amelia W.
About: I’ve been a proud dog owner for over 10 years and currently care for two happy little gerbils, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. Beyond my own pets, I’ve had lots of experience pet sitting for friends and neighbors, taking care of dogs, cats, and small animals with the same love and attention I give my own. I believe what sets me apart is the genuine bond I build with every pet—I treat them like family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m a part-time student studying nursing home for the summer, so I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies! I’m usually available all day on weekdays and many weekends unless specified otherwise. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home or yours, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment where animals feel secure and relaxed. I carefully follow any routines or instructions you provide, keeping a close eye on their needs and behavior. In day care situations, I have a large open yard, and a friendly dog to keep your pet company. I can easily crate your pet if needed.
