“Absolutely wonderful experience! Karen was so kind and welcoming to our very energetic pup! She has great attention to detail and took the time to truly get to know our dog and his unique personality and needs. Getting updates and pictures of our dog having the time of his life with Karen and her family made us feel so at ease knowing that he was in great, loving hands. We will definitely be reaching out to Karen in the future and our pup can’t wait to go back! ☺️❤️”

“This was the first time we used Rover. We left Gunner for a daycare day to start. Carolyn and Kristopher were great with Gunner. Carolyn wrote down all the details of Gunner’s normal routine and his particular needs. He came home very tired which was a win. We will be using them again in February for a longer stay. So thankful we found such wonderful people to leave him with.”

“Jessica and her family are amazing hosts. They were easy to coordinate with and took great care of our senior husky. We will be rebooking with them in the future if they’ll have Cricket!”

About: I'm located in Afton now! I've been taking care of animals all of my life from bunnies to gerbils to cats and dogs! I am very empathetic and have a natural way with animals and extensive experience working with challenging feline cases (deaf and blind, fospice, subcutaneous fluids, behavioral challenges). I'm also comfortable sitting and caring for friendly dogs.. I work from home as a therapist so can have your pet here with me or can make home visits when I'm not seeing clients. I am a "homebody" and live right on a lake here in Minneapolis, perfect for walks. I am very trustworthy, have worked as a pet sitter for others who can testify to that. My home is clean, spacious and full of love! I am ready to make it cozy and fit your animals needs. I do have some nice rugs and so they should be potty trained if staying at mine.

About: My pet/house sitting adventures have taken me across the country, from Oregon to Hawaii to South Carolina. I have cared for a variety of breeds and personalities, from high-energy pups to mellow seniors, and I enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique quirks and routines. Our family absolutely loves animals, but we do not have any of our own. We love welcoming special guests into our home and giving them 100% of our love and attention while they’re with us ❤ We also enjoy caring for pets in their own homes, where they may feel most comfortable. I'm attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and special care instructions, and I’m comfortable with everything from daily walks to medication administration. We’re a blended family with one child (age 14) who lives with us half the time, and two children (ages 8 and 4) who are here full-time. They're gentle and very respectful of animals, and they love to help when families and pets are comfortable with it. Depending on your preferences (and your pet’s comfort level), my kids may join me for some or none of the time. We’re flexible and will prioritize what helps your pet feel relaxed and loved. Thank you for your time! I’ve worked remotely for 14 years, which gives me the flexibility to provide care either in my home or yours. I’m typically available on weekdays and many weekends, too. We do not have a fenced-in yard, however, our family loves to spend time outdoors and go on walks. We would love to include your pet(s) in our adventures, if you're comfortable with us doing so!

“I used Mike's doggy daycare services and was very happy, but most importantly my labradoodle Doug loves spending time there! Mike is very good with the dogs. They are very calm and happy in his care. Doug got plenty of play time, and returned home content and ready for a nap. I also loved getting the photos and videos throughout the day. I will definitely be using Mike's services again!”
“We are traveling and our William was desperately in need for some canine fun, and he found it @ John & Rochelle's place. He was very happy and tired everyday. I could not be happier. Will definitely keep them in mind if we come back through Hudson.”

“Tracy is so sweet and patient with our Great Dane puppy, Julian. He is already quite tall and large at 9 months of age and Tracy handles him so well on walks and in public places. She is helping reinforce the training we are doing at home, which we are so grateful for. She gives Julian lots of 1:1 attention and love and is always excited to see him.”

I have over 18 years experience caring for animals of my own, rescue fosters, and shelter animals, and caring for other's pets while they are away. I am a lifelong animal lover with experience with cats, dogs, and small animals like ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, chickens, and more. I have cats and dogs of my own currently. Whether you are looking for a dog walker, a drop-in pet sitter, or a comfortable place to board your four-legged (or more or less) family members, I can be of service to you. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me! I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. I wouldn’t just be some dog watcher, I would be their friend that plays with them and loves being with them.

Sandy is the best person to care for your dog while you’re away. She takes the time to find out about your dog before she takes care of them. It’s obvious that she truly loves caring for dogs. I know my little guy will miss all of the love she gave him in my absence. Lisa L.
