Allow us to introduce ourselves: Names: Catherine and Dan Location: Franklin, NJ Availability: Flexible, as I work from home About Us: We have been lifelong dog enthusiasts and have had dogs as part of our family for as long as we can remember. Our shared love for dogs, big or small, is something that brings us immense joy and fulfillment. We strongly believe that dogs are an integral part of the family and deserve all the love, care, and attention they can get. We are fortunate to have a spacious backyard that provides plenty of room for dogs to explore, play, and stretch their legs. It's a safe and secure environment where they can freely roam around. We take great pride in maintaining a clean and dog-friendly space that promotes both comfort and fun. One of our favorite pastimes is hiking, and we often embark on exciting outdoor adventures. We love exploring nature trails, breathing in the fresh air, and taking in the beauty of our surroundings. There's a nearby park where we frequently visit for leisurely walks, providing ample opportunities for dogs to enjoy nature alongside us. Currently, we don't have any pets of our own. However, Rover allows us to share our love and care with dogs in our community, giving us the opportunity to provide them with a temporary home away from home. We enjoy the unique bonds we form with each dog we care for and find fulfillment in providing them with a safe and loving environment. Working from home gives me the advantage of being present for your furry companion throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule, ensuring that your dog receives the attention, companionship, and exercise they need. Whether it's playtime, belly rubs, or a leisurely walk, your dog will receive our undivided attention and care. During their stay with us, your dog will be treated as a cherished member of our family. We'll follow your instructions and routines closely to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. Whether they prefer playing fetch in the backyard, going on hikes, or simply relaxing indoors, we'll cater to their specific needs and preferences. We genuinely look forward to welcoming your furry friend into our home, where they will be showered with love, care, and endless belly rubs. Contact us today to schedule a meet and greet, and let's embark on a fantastic Rover experience together!

About: Your dog becomes part of my household, which already includes a Border Collie and Jack Russel. I would not crate any dog unless absolutely required for short periods. Therefore I need to meet the dogs before commitment to ensure they are friendly and fit in for a visit. I am running my own farm business and is at home almost all the time, taking care of animals is my day-to-day activity. I only take in 1 or 2 animals at a time and already spend a lot of time walking and playing with my own dogs, adding 1-2 additional is part of the daily activities. I have 2 dogs already, they are never crated (since initial house training). I would not expect to crate any visiting dog either, unless there are specific circumstances raised by owner or if dog is destructive in the house when running free. I am the only carer for visiting dogs. While there are other people in household, I will be the sole carer and only person signing up with Rover.

About: We’ve taken care of cats and dogs since we were younger. Lucy has grown with pets all her life. We have cats who are independent and a lab puppy they’re all very friendly. We love both dogs and cats! We have a home with a fenced yard. We have small children who are also gentle and have had pets around since they were born. We’d love to watch your pets! We can send pictures, have potty breaks often, go to dog parks, accommodate to your pets needs. :) Lucy is at home throughout the day so she will be mostly watching your pet during their stay. Hopefully your pup or cat is okay to be alone for 1-3 hours while I’m out running errands on some days. Our home has a baby gate that separates our rooms and bathrooms from rest of the home, our cats are most of the time in our room area. All pets are allowed everywhere, but will mostly be in the living room/kitchen area. You are more than welcome to come see the house before deciding to leave them with us. :)

About: I am an experienced dog handler and temperament tester. I have worked in shelters for the past 8 years, and help run a dog rescue. I believe in, and practice a positive reinforcement training and reward system. I will provide a safe and fun and social experience for your dog. I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am also well versed in the “crate and rotate” situation in the event there are animals in my home that don’t like each other. My schedule does vary and I do work weekends but animals are never left alone for more than 4 to 6 hours. Crate trained animals are required to stay in my home. I am happy to help with that sort of training.

About: I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I’ve had dogs, cats, and other pets my entire life. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for over 15 years. I am comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, and of course cuddling your fur members of the family. If there are other tasks you need done around the house when I’m pet sitting, don’t hesitate to ask, chances are I am more then happy to do it. I am off Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On Fridays I am off at 2:30 and can accept clients after 3:00. I am available for last minute visits. My husband and I work opposite schedules so someone is always around. PLEASE READ! For boarding at my house I typically like to meet the dogs prior to accepting booking. I have two dogs of my own, a large mix breed ( male) and a medium mix breed ( girl). My dogs have always been around other dogs. During your pets stay at my house they will have access to a fully fenced in yard, free range of house and endless love ! I do request your pets to have flea and tick prevention and be up to date with vaccines. My propety is surrounded by woods and wildlife so I like to be cautious. I feed the dogs I’m boarding in a separate room, and have ample toys for different stimulation. I can send daily updates and pictures. My house also has cameras inside and out to watch when I step out.

“When I picked up my doggies they were very happy ! They went on long walks and seemed like they had a great time with Kevin. Thank you. I will be booking again :)”

We never take more than one dog guest at a time and take extra special care of your pet while you are gone, including walks and cuddles. My husband and I have been taking care of dogs and cats a combined 30 years and have both had dogs since childhood. I lived with dogs (2 Jack Russel Terriers and a black Lab) for over 20 years and have had my own cats for the past 10 years. I know how to walk, bathe and feed. BONUS THAT REALLY SETS ME APART FROM OTHERS 😅: I am a pet intuitive and add Reiki for pets into my services if it's wanted. About: I have single-handedly taken care of my dogs since I was 16 including vet bills, health check-ups, training classes, and grooming. I currently have a 5 year old Lab named Sammy who loves all dogs. With all dogs, I have given them at least 2 hours of exercise a day, even when going to college full-time and working part-time. I absolutely love all dogs from the pint-sized pups to the gentle giants. I understand dogs with some behavior issues get them from a harder past and I am happy to accept them and work with them! I am currently at home full time and plan to be in the future so your dog will have all the attention! Just on the weekend I tend to not be free but if you message me we may be able to make it work! Whenever I am there I always am with the dog, whether it's on the couch, outside, etc.. I follow the owner's directions to the word and sometimes will message them if there is something not clear. I treat their dog like I would want Sam to be treated.

Elizabeth S.
“Elizabeth is a caring, responsible, well-prepared and well-educated dog professional. Her communication is outstanding, and she treats her dogs as if they were her own, while being flexible and making sure she knows what YOUR dog needs. She has a background in dog training and behavior, which is terrific. She is thoughtful and caring - I am a very nervous dog owner with a high-energy escape artist of a Jack Russell, and Elizabeth did an amazing job of taking care of her (and me!). She was flexible, easy to work with, and gave Tori not just safe, loving care, but also grand adventures! She has a strong understanding of dog behavior and uses that to make sure your dog is superbly taken care of and happy. I recommend her without reservation, and am looking forward to using her again! It is an absolutely fantastic and reassuring thing to know that Tori has a wonderful home away from home.”

Jessica Z.
“Jess is amazing with pets! I love my dogs, and there aren’t many people i would trust but I would never hesitate to have Jess care for my fur babies.
