About: I have taken care of family animals my entire life & foster failed with my rescue 7 years ago. I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I am happy to do a meet and greet to make sure we are a good match :) I work fully remote so I am available all day to either host day care or sit in your home! I can provide frequent walks, potty breaks, and 1:1 supervision. In / from your home I will provide long walks in nearby parks / the sidewalk, play catch, and explore. If you have a fenced in yard or common area and prefer your doggo play there, that’s great as well

About: I have cared for my own dogs in my family for the past ten years and have sat animals in my extended family. It is important to leave your furry family members in the trusted care of your sitter or walker which is why I treat your pets like my own. I currently work from home two days a week and am available on weekends. My weeks are flexible and can do early morning or evening drop ins. In my own home we make sure our furry friends are comfortable- we walk on leashes and when in a fenced in yard will always keep an eye on them!

We take only 3 dogs at a time, so your beloved gets lots of attention in a calm and peaceful home. Our priority is giving your dog a peaceful, safe, familial and comfortable stay. We can provide pick up and drop off service if needed. Swimming "lessons" at no extra charge. Although cold water is not my favorite, my wet suit and I will acclimate your dog to lake swimming if you desire. My experience with rescue dogs, cats and horses is extensive. As a 30 year professional psychology and special education teacher, in addition to all of my experience with animals, you will feel secure leaving your best friend with us!! I am home full time. Your dog will be a part of the family. Dinner with the family, walks, car rides, visits to the lake beach, watching kids softball games.... Your dog is top priority while with us. About: I am a lifelong animal lover, highly experienced with “escape artists”. I only look after pets from a single household and I work from home so your pet(s) will have all the attention they need and deserve. I have experience with dogs, both young and old. Whether they need medication or potty pads, I’ve got it handled! I live in a quiet subdivision that makes for great walks, and I have a fenced in yard. NO pets are unsupervised at any time outside. I take great pride in the fact you can rest easy and know your pet is in great care! I work from home and my schedule is relative flexible. I have time to take dogs out 3 times a day (or more if required). This also allows me to get some play time in throughout the day. I do not make commitments to others when I am watching your pets, so they will always have supervision I have a fenced in yard and I live in a quiet subdivision. I have a small friendly dog that likes to keep to herself (cat friendly as well). And I have large and medium crates, if your pets prefers to sleep in one as well as plenty of space if you prefer to provide your own.

This was the first time I used Rover or needed a sitter at all. I found Brenda and Francis and communicated shortly and set up a meeting day. Brenda came by and we hit it off. She's an animal lover, very caring and genuine. All throughout my time away, she was always reachable. Went the extra mile with maintaining the space my cats live in. And I even needed her to do some trouble shooting with the cameras in my house ( cats are fun ) . I will definitely be reaching out in the future to have this duo check in on my babies again. Trustworthy, responsible, and caring.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for shy, timid pets who need gentle reassurance. I’ve fostered 60+ rescue dogs and have years of experience helping anxious pups feel safe, calm, and cared for. My focus is overnight, in-home sitting so your pets can stay in their normal routine—sleeping in their own beds, in the place they feel most comfortable (no boarding stress). I am happy to send photos and updates of your pets while you're away so you can enjoy your travels knowing they are safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love. While you’re away, I also treat your home with respect and care: bringing in mail/packages, rotating lights, watering plants, and keeping things tidy. Expect reliable communication, photo updates, and calm, steady care—walks, playtime, enrichment, snuggles, and support for separation anxiety/routines. I work full time for a nonprofit with some remote work flexibly as needed. My schedule is an 8 hr work day and start and end times can be adjusted as needed. I am experienced with crate training, basic obedience, special diets, walking, mental stimulation and calming techniques and lots of love, affection and snuggles. Services can be modified for the specific needs of your dog(s) or cat(s).

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, including my own pets since I was 10. I also worked at a dog kennel and as a dog grooming assistant when I was younger, and I’ve dog-sat for other families. These experiences taught me how to safely handle dogs, help with bathing, and keep them calm and comfortable in new places. What makes me different from many sitters is my experience with senior, disabled, and recovering dogs. I’ve cared for pets after surgery and illness, including staying up overnight to watch them, hand-feeding, helping them move around, and gently taking them outside. I also cared for my disabled Lab whose back legs didn’t work, helping with bathroom needs, cleaning, and daily comfort. Because of this, I’m very patient, attentive, and comfortable caring for dogs who need extra help, medications, or a slower pace. I treat every dog like family and focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily schedule. I complete my schoolwork through flexible online classes, which allows me to be home most of the day. Because of this, I’m able to give pets frequent attention, regular potty breaks, walks, feeding, and companionship throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. I’m used to caring for pets as part of my daily routine at home, including feeding, cleaning, and making sure they are comfortable and safe. This flexible schedule allows me to be reliable and fully present for the pets in my care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get walks or potty breaks, and receive lots of attention and playtime. I also give any medications if needed and keep their space clean. I respect the client’s home and keep everything tidy, including cleaning up pet messes, washing bowls if needed, and making sure doors and gates stay secure. I send updates and photos so owners know their pet is safe and happy. My goal is to make pets feel relaxed and cared for while their family is away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
