“This was our first effort to try a pet sitter. Our dog has major anxiety issues with thunderstorms. This makes it rather difficult in the Florida area during summer to leave her alone. I was so happy to find a petsitter in our local area. Regina corresponded promptly from the initial inquiry to the completion. She arrived right on time and sent several pictures to us while we were away. Our dog experienced a bloat episode, which she has had in the past, and Regina handled the episode wonderfully. About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and been there to help friends, family and neighbors with their pets with 8 years of professional and personal experience. I have 4 dogs in my own household including a Great Dane mixed w/ a redbone coonhound, a dachshund mixed w/ a pit-bull, Chihuahua and a Chihuahua mixed w/ an Australian cattle hound! Plus a small rabbit! I’ve even trained my dogs to follow some ASL commands. I’m currently completing my masters program so I’d be happy to help with your dear pets and treat them with as much love as my own. I’m currently a masters in occupational therapy student who has recently graduated. I’m studying for my boards exam throughout the summer so I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pet! Within your home I will care for your pets as according to your wishes and rules. I respect your space and the safety of your pet first and foremost so I will always handle them gently and with care. I will make sure they attend to their potty schedule as instructed and reward them if they’re still in training. I’ll clean up after them as needed and ensure they’re following a proper feeding schedule. Finally, I’ll of course make sure they receive the affection and attention they want!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any kind since i was around 13. I love them unconditionally, they bring happiness to everyone. I have my own dogs, bigger breeds, and occasionally dogsit for my sister when she’s out of town! this is my full time! so i have plenty of time to make it everywhere i need to be! i make this my top priority day in and day out! my dogs are free roam in the house, trained and well behaved. my cat is also free roam and is well behaved, and likes almost everyone! if your animals are crate trained, that’s fine! your house your rules! i always stick to what the owners prefer, like, etc. for their animal. i never go the route of sticking to my own rules, it’s not my animal, the owner knows best!

“Velvet was wonderful! Our Bear is an old guy with special needs and medications and Velvet did a great job handling all that he needed. She kept us in the loop on all meals, walks and medications and even sent us photos along the way so we could see how happy he was (maybe too happy without us! LOL). About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. Starting watching other people’s animals around 5 years ago. i also have three dogs of my own and used to have a rabbit which was a lot of work and prepared me for more and more. I change around my schedule around it as pets deserve the same attention humans do. They are just as emotional as we are and compassionate. I keep them on leases when needed and keep them in instructed area; fenced in yard, harness, crate, gated area, etc. just basically whatever requirements needed.

She continued with my dogs typically routines as communicated (feeding, etc). I have an elderly dog that requires more needs and she cared for her as I would- washing linens and keeping her wound and bed tidy! She maintained my home and kept it an immaculate throughout her stay. Sent me texts and pictures throughout the day of the pups to alleviate my anxiety of leaving my dogs!
