“Let me start by saying that I was very very leery of using an online service to watch my animals as I had never done it. But a friend of mine assured me that Rover.com was safe. So I started looking at potential people to watch my animals and I came across Altira’s post. I’ve read all the reviews which were all positive and after meeting her and watching her interact with my dogs as my cats were hiding, I felt very comfortable knowing that she would be caring for them while I was away. She sent daily pictures and knowing my crew which included the cats because they finally came out which is unusual, they love her. She even went above and beyond and captured a cane frog in my yard which I’m glad she did as they are poisonous to my dogs. I will most definitely be using Allie again.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family and friends since 2019. Never having a fur baby of my one, I give as many belly rubs to the ones I care for to make up for it! Since I WFH, my schedule is very flexible. It’s the perfect set up for midday walks and all day belly rubs! Having a car also allows flexibility so I’m available in various locations. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes or potty breaks, and plenty of attention based on their personality and comfort level. About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and been there to help friends, family and neighbors with their pets with 8 years of professional and personal experience. I have 4 dogs in my own household including a Great Dane mixed w/ a redbone coonhound, a dachshund mixed w/ a pit-bull, Chihuahua and a Chihuahua mixed w/ an Australian cattle hound! Plus a small rabbit! I’ve even trained my dogs to follow some ASL commands. Within your home I will care for your pets as according to your wishes and rules. I respect your space and the safety of your pet first and foremost so I will always handle them gently and with care. I will make sure they attend to their potty schedule as instructed and reward them if they’re still in training. I’ll clean up after them as needed and ensure they’re following a proper feeding schedule. Finally, I’ll of course make sure they receive the affection and attention they want!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats in my neighborhood. I am relied on to feed and walk them while making them feel safe always! I am currently on my summer before college and have some free time before I go, and I love to meet new animals every day. I do have a fenced in yard for my own animals so they can play and do what they want while being safe. I do not prefer fenced in yard versus walking on a leash because I feel there are benefits to both!

For example, for a dog, I'll make sure to give them plenty of exercise, feed them at the right times, and provide lots of love and attention. If it's a cat, I'll make sure to clean their litter box, provide fresh water and food, and spend some quality playtime with them. Each pet is unique, so it's important to tailor the care to their individual needs.

About: I’ve been an animal lover, my whole life. With my background in the Vet field and most of my time as a kennel manager, my prior history, ensures the safety and care of your fur baby. I also have pets of my own so every day I ensure that not only my pets are taken care of but yours as well. I have several family members and friends that only trust me with their pets. I have 2 seniors pets of my own and understand the difficulties that come along with it. I’m very knowledgeable on keeping logs of medication and when they are administered and ensuring they get all the bathroom breaks and play time possible. Currently for the summer time, I am home most of the week and can ensure a daily routine. While pet sitting if I do have to leave I limit my time out and I ensure there is entertainment to help with anxiety such as a radio or TV playing with a cartoon and or music videos of wildlife. This has had a positive experience for many pets I take care of. I never want to leave a pet alone for long. I have a large fenced in yard, I have three very friendly dogs (one large and two small senior dogs) they can keep your babies company. I also have crates for my own pets and if necessary for yours as well.

About: I have had dogs and cats all of my life and have always been around them. I love dogs as if they were my own. I currently work at a hospital as a phlebotomist. My mornings are always free all week and I’m off two days per week. Currently not in school and will return to school next year! I offer drop in visits and dog walking services! I am more than comfortable playing around with doggies, giving them treats, feeding/ watering them , taking them out to handle their business when doing drop in visits. As well as for dog walking I have a doggie of my own and love taking walks with her and personally leash trained her as when she was younger she did not like leashes as much. I will care for your fur babies as if they were my own!
