About: I currently own a dog, a bird, a fish, and hamster. Ive grown around dogs and animals all my life. I understand body behavior and trust = patience. No dog is aggressive, its just scared. I got a 10 week old puppy last year, it now knows how to wait for its food until commanded, give paw, sit, laydown, and roll over. I love animals and have had experience my entire life! I work at a pizza hut with a pretty flexible schedule, I can always work around your schedule and im very flexible when it comes to having availability. I care for pets as if they were my own by following all instructions closely and prioritizing their safety and comfort. I make sure dogs get proper exercise, fresh water, and positive attention. I respect clients’ homes, keep doors and gates secure, and provide updates for peace of mind.
“Victoria watched our two dogs for a long weekend and took wonderful care of them. She sent updates daily with photos and our dogs appeared to be quite comfortable! Our home was also very well maintained while she was here. Definitely keeping her on our list of sitters for future trips away!”

“I had the best experience possible with Miriam. She walked my dog took her to the beach, sent many pictures and videos. And some adorable Instagram posts! She houser for my dog for almost two weeks during the holidays. My house was in perfect condition when I returned and I could tell how happy my big chocolate Labrador baby was while she was cared for by Mariam. I will definitely call on her again to walk or care for my dog and my home!! Thank you so very much Miriam.”

“Alexa was fantastic. She stayed at our house with 4 dogs for 4 nights and we can tell they were well loved. We were kept informed of how they were doing periodically, which put our mind at ease and allowed us to focus on our time away. I highly recommend Alexa.”
“It’s very clear to us that Paige is a BIG animal lover! She treated our sweet girl with great care while we were traveling, and checked in with us each day with photos of her adventures. We’ve already rebooked Paige for dog sitting.”

“Malena did a great job taking care of my cat and dog while we were away. She also stayed at my home and everything was perfect when I got home. She was kind and gentle with my pets. I would highly recommend her and would certainly use her in the future.”

“My dogs loved Jenelle and so did we! We could tell from the interactions that they were in very capable and loving hands. Throughout the stay, Jenelle sent numerous photos (and texts) of her playing, exercising and cuddling with both Ivy and Harley We left detailed instructions for the care of our house and pets which she followed to our greatest satisfaction. Our house was spotless when we returned and both dogs were happy and content We have finally met a very responsible and affectionate young lady that we can entrust with the care of our home and pets to. We plan on hiring Jenelle in the future and highly recommend her services. When it comes to trusting the care of both home and pets to someone and having peace of mind in doing so, we have been truly blessed with Jenelle. 🙂”
About: I grew up with dogs at home so caring for them feels second nature. I’ve learned to read their moods, know when they need a walk versus a nap, and to keep a calm but enjoyable presence. I’m comfortable with dogs of any size or energy level, from chill seniors to super energetic puppies. I treat every pet like my own. ❤️ I work as a server, so my schedule shifts week to week rather than following a set routine. But that actually works in my favor for pet care. My days off are usually Wednesday and Thursday, and outside of shifts I have plenty of flexible time to check in, walk, and play. I’m happy to work around your pet’s needs rather than the other way around! I don’t have pets of my own right now, which means your dog/cat gets my full attention with no other animals competing for it. I have a fenced yard, so there’s a safe space for off-leash play and bathroom breaks without worrying about them wandering off. I treat every home and every pet with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

About: Ive taken care of dogs that range from chihuahuas to pit bulls, including dogs that have had past trauma. I’ve learned to understand how to care for them in the best, most loving way possible. I work in the sports industry so in the offseason is when I have the most free time. This summer is when I’ll be able to devote all my time to taking care of furry friends! I have a backyard with shall and turf that furry friends can use to play or use the bathroom. I also have a two story town home where they can roam and play as needed

About: Reliable, loving pet care from someone who’s been around dogs my whole life. I’ve grown up with dogs and have hands-on experience dog sitting, so I understand how to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just giving them attention while you’re away, I treat every dog like my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine alongside my part-time job. I’m able to leave during the day, which gives me flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and check-ins. I make sure to plan my schedule around each pet’s needs, including feeding, playtime, and attention, so they stay on a consistent routine and feel comfortable while you’re away. I prioritize safety whether pets are in their home or mine. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely—keeping doors and gates secure, sticking to feeding and walking routines, and making sure the environment stays clean and safe. I’m always attentive to their behavior and surroundings during walks or playtime.
About: Although most people see this as a job, i see pet-sitting as a fun and exciting opportunity to make new friends all with their own personalities:)! Seeing as i don’t really find myself going out much now-a-days, pet sitting seems like the only right option needed to be taken way sooner. I believe in everyone having their own schedules for their babies, so i try to keep their routines to allow more comfort for all parties.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 785 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Felda. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Felda walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Felda maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Felda choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Felda. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
