About: I’ve owned seniors dogs, puppies and everything in between. Jack Russell Terrier to English Mastiff. I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family and Hilo goes most places with us. However, there are times he must stay home in his covered kennel or inside depending on weather. We enjoy the rhythm of our daily routines just as much as all of our animals. To keep it humming everyone works in concert sharing the load of responsibilities.

About: Hello there! My name is Cath and my partner Brian and I live in Aptos,. I truly love taking care of all kinds of animals, I have had dogs and cats all my life and I am attuned to their needs and varying personalities. I have 5 years professional pet sitting experience and I been a dog mom to large dogs for 10+ years. Brian has been a dog parent to large dogs for 30 years. We are always the person that my friends, co-workers and neighbors come to when their dogs or cats need care. We both love spending time outside in nature, hiking, and keeping an active lifestyle your pet will enjoy. We do not own any pets, so we are always looking forward to having new companions to welcome into our home. We love to take dogs outside to explore nature, play a game of fetch, beach romps, and redwoods hikes. We are experienced with dogs from puppies to elders, especially with senior dogs. We can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! We are available for long weekends and most holidays. Our guest dogs stay, nap and play in an open environment. We want to know what would make a fun and happy stay for your dog. We live in the fog belt along the coast so it stays nice and cool here when its hot everywhere else. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: We to keep your dogs patterns as close to the way they are at home as possible. If your dog sleeps in their own bed or crate we will honor that. Typically their bed is in our room or the living room. We allow dogs on our bed, and have a dedicated dog couch so they can relax in the living room and are treated like a member of the family. My partner Brian’s schedule has recently changed so we can only board weekends, or possibly over a long weekend: We can take a Friday evening drop off at 5pm earliest, and can schedule a Monday morning pickup until 10 am or so. We live in a quiet, low-traffic beach neighborhood of Aptos, with a front and back fenced in yard, a two minute walk to a dog friendly beach, and 5 minute drive to a redwoods state park. The backyard is shared with my awesome neighbor who own a dog. The backyard has a fence that is split down the middle, and he is kept on his side of the fence. He is only let outside occasionally, under supervised conditions. We do not allow guests dogs into the backyard when he is present, until we have had time to properly introduce them. He is friendly, but we always take care to introduce dogs. Our front yard has a low fence so our guest dogs are only allowed in the front yard under supervision, the backyard has a much higher fence, and we have a sliding glass door so they can go outside easily. We can crate your dog if needed. Both yards have shade, flower gardens, and are wonderful places to take a nap in the sun.

About: I love animals of all kinds: dogs, cats, geckos, etc. My kids have left home and I have the time to care for your sweet fur-babies. I work from home 3 days a week and can easily help with your pet care needs on those days and on any given weekend. I offer pet walking, potty breaks, feeding, socializing, boarding and very limited grooming (brushing if needed). Your pet stays in the room with me as I work and we go for walks or into the yard as instructed by you.

About: I used to be a part of “Guide Dogs for the Blind.” You were pre screened, trained, and I had dogs overnight. It was very rewarding! I have 2 medium sized dogs as well. I have time for pet care as I am working a part time job that only takes up 4-6 hours of the day. I LOVE getting my steps in along West Cliff and having a companion for the walk is always a plus! I am free on weekends too and am willing to set scheduled times for walking or house check ups. I’ve had dogs since I was young and am very familiar with this care. I have also lived with 2 cats and loved learning the care techniques for cats as well! I love animals and always want the best for the animals and owners requests!

About: I am attending school at UCSC for legal studies and have a robust knowledge of dog parks, dog-friendly beaches and trails from Santa Cruz to the City! If you’d like to socialise your dog, you’re in luck because I have a 10-month-old baby 🐾 of my own. We have tons of doggo friends for your pooch to meet if you choose, and no matter what, your dog is getting top-tier handling and care when you trust working with me! If there are behaviours you’d like to work on or would like me to be aware of, please do not hesitate to reach out, and we can discuss them further. I am available for full time pet care and when school resumes come the New Year, I will be available part time + still available to board if needed. There has not been an hour where I have not been in the company of 1 or more dogs since June 2024 I have a fenced yard for the dogs to go potty and run uninhibited. I have a small scale toy operation which means the dogs will have plenty to keep them occupied and if he/she would like to go home with their favourites, we can arrange for that too. I am capable of pickup and drop off as well as supervised visits to the park, creeks, the beach, trails, etc.

About: I’m an animal lover! I love all animals! I have had 2 bunny’s when I was younger and I have a little maltese dog named Marlin. I’ve had him for about 7 years and I adore him so much. Animals are my favorite, I love hanging out with them and playing with them. I have a part-time job so I do have free time to help out in anyway I can and take care of your cute animals! I make sure my dog has plenty of water before I leave for any reason and make sure he gets fed on time. I make sure he gets plenty of attention and love! I will do the same for yours!!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was born , my household always has pets around so it is second nature to me to take care of them. I have experience with dogs with health problems , senior dogs , puppies , and all sorts of doggies am a student and looking to do something that I love . Currently I am the mother of a 5 month old German Shorthaired Pointer and have grown fond of walking her and would like to expand my passion and skills to other doggies. I have just one dog and she is okay with having other dogs around. I do not have experience with cats. My dog is teething at the moment so I have no issue with teething pups as I myself am dealing and managing it.
