“Stasia took great care of our dogs and our home while we were away! The house looked exactly as we left it when we returned. She was great at communication before and while we were gone as well. We have 3 GSPs and they seemed very well cared for by her.”

“This was Kira's second time taking care of Siggy and Carl. The boys were happy to see here, she communicated well, and everything in the house was in order. Thank you!”

“Juan did a great job with our boy. We got updates and pictures and he was very responsive to any messages we sent while we were away. Took great care of the house as well!”

“Our first experience w/Rover: I chose Brigit after reading her numerous reviews; knew at our first meet & greet that I was lucky to find such an incredible young women w/the medical skill’s & compassion for a geriatric 10 yr young puppy I inherited from my only cousin, upon her passing. Brigit has also been an excellent teacher to a retired teacher who is a willing, lifelong learner. Proving any old dog: whether 2 legged, or 4 🐾 🐾 > can learn new ‘tricks’; taught skillfully! Hopefully, Brigit gives us more chances to improve our ‘score’ each time, when she is available to watch both our home & Maggie Rita 1️⃣ very contented pup❣️”
“Geneva took wonderful care of my dog Zelee and was very attentive to her needs. I appreciated her sending me lots of photos, videos, and updates of Zelee during her stay with her! I would recommend her services and trust her to watch Zelee again in the future.”

“Our 14YO female heeler bonded immediately with Aarti and she was probably sad when we returned. I like Aarti because she returns texts and requests in a very timely manner. We got photos from her every day which helped to ease any anxiety we had about using a new dog sitter. Her background as a vet assistant also eased our minds with our dog's history of Cushings disease. We travel a fair amount and are looking to have Aarti care for our girl in the future. Five stars for sure.”

“Hoss is amazing!!! They were available on unreasonably short notice when the original sitter I had booked randomly disappeared. Our dogs were obsessed with Hoss from the first moment, and I have no doubt our precious ones felt safe and cared for the entire time. On top of looking after two finicky pups (one is elderly and requires medication, one is shy and stubborn, and they are both bratty), they took great care of our home and made sure to send us updates, even going out of their way to hand feed our little girl her kibbles when she went on hunger strike because of our absence. Hoss is attentive and understanding, a true animal lover. And to top it all off they have a great personality, radiating kindness and fun energy. We would be lucky to have them sit for us again. 10/10 highly recommend.”
“Jessie took great care of our kitty and the house. She's super communicative and responsive. Our cat was one happy camper. I highly recommend Jessie, and I'm sure we'll be repeat customers.”

“Vince was wonderful, highly recommend! He took great care of our chickens, goats, dogs and cats! Our dogs clearly missed him and were looking around the house for him when we got back.”

“Skyler helped us out last night and she was great. Our pups and house were take good care of. She was also great with communication and we will definitely ask her to stay again!”
“Jace did an excellent job pet sitting my two pups. They are a bit shy, but warmed up to her quickly. She sent plenty of updates and photos so I knew they were doing okay while I was traveling.”

About: Hi! My name is Paulo. I love dogs and it is a pleasure been able to work with them. I have experience on taking care of dogs, since I have aways been a dog parent myself. I will treat your loved one with patience, respect and professionalism. I do dog walks and dog sitting. I am from Brazil, and I have such love for my dog that I brought my mixed dog Lupita from there to leave with me in New York City. She was rescued from a shelter there, and have made my life way more fullfil and happy since then. Other than that, I've aways had dogs and other pets since I was a kid and I have been walking and sitting dogs for two years.
About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and enjoy their company. I had two Labradors and four cats sharing my home, who have since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. My sister has a middle-aged rescue brindle, a two-year-old calico cat, and a Retriever puppy that I assist caring for which fills that furry gap. My diversity in caring for old and young dogs is extensive along with varieties of dogs from Labradors to Pittbull-mixes to Bassett Hounds. I love how pets fill our hearts with love and affection and I enjoy being with them, caring and playing with them. Being retired I can spend as much time as needed to care for your fur babies. My versatile schedule allows me availability to be with them whenever needed to let them out, play, feed and check on them. I look forward to meeting them, and you. I have done house and pet sitting for many years bringing experience and attention to every home and pet I meet. One of my goals is to bring comfort when you are away knowing your home and pets are well cared for. My first priority is to be mindful of the location of each dog and cat while there. Safety is most important, being aware of closed doors and gates to avoid any mishaps and alert to anything on the floor or within reach that could be ingested. Every pet has their unique habits and I am careful to learn those from you and them and focus on their needs. I enjoy giving people that comfort knowing their fur babies and their home are in good hands.
About: We are excited to offer a loving and happy family home environment for your pet. My three children and husband and I love all types of animals. Our home is a great setup for dogs, cats, or other pets. We have a fully fenced-in yard and a doggie door that leads to the backyard. We live about a ten minute walk from Jeanne Bellamah Community Center where we could take your dog if you want. I have several years of experience, from taking care of my own family pets growing up to volunteering every week for years at cat rescue shelters and dog rescue shelters. I was even employed for 6 months as a live-in dog and cat nanny for 3 pugs, including an elderly 21 year-old pug, and 20 kittens and cats! I have dog-sat and cat-sat and rat-sat on several occasions, volunteered at animal sanctuaries including a month-long stay at Farm Sanctuary, volunteering full-time caring for the resident animals there as well as a couple of week-long stays at Best Friends Animal Society. I really love animals! I know how it feels to wonder and worry about your fur baby at home while traveling, therefore it's very important to me that your beloved pet receives the most loving care as possible and we are committed to giving them all that they need while in our care. I normally only work 1 day a week away from home for about 6 hours, and my 3 year old daughter is always with me so your pet would be getting tons of love and attention, and then even more when everyone else gets home in the afternoon after school and work. The weekends will be totally open for all of us to have fun with your pet. We do have 2 guinea pigs so they'll stay locked in a separate room from the rest of the house while your pet is here. We have a fully fenced-in front and back yard as well as a doggy door. We will follow whatever rules you want for your dog so they are welcome to sleep on our beds with us if you want them to. We are all very active and I walk my kids to school so we can walk your dog as much as you like.
“Max was great with our dog! He was attentive to detail and asked questions to make sure our dog was being well taken care of. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: I go by Seven, I was born on a farm, I’ve worked with animals of the farm variety and of course, cats, dogs, and many more sense I was young. Volunteered at animal shelter, vets office, and farm animal facilities. I’m currently a UNM student so all my babies are at home but I plan to have my ESA Rosy join me soon, so I don’t see animals often outside of meeting fellow students pets. I have spent most of my years growing up with and around animals and have a lot of love and experience with them! I have classes m/w/f from 10am-3/1pm but other than that I’m free for any kind of help! I make sure to ask what rules or regulations have to be followed for both pet, home, and routine. I never wanna stress a pet out or an owner so I love to send photos and updates the whole time I’m there as well as make sure everyone is comfortable and happy with the job and care I give.
“Amaya was very responsive and communicative when taking care of Simba. She sent picture updates and I can tell Simba loved her. Would definitely recommend to watch again!”

La Mesa pet parents share their Rover experiences
Juan was available very last minute for us, and he treated our 2 pups amazing! They were very happy and healthy when you came back. He sent pictures every other day and gave us little updates! He also left our house just the way we left it! Would definitely recommend using Juan to pup sit your fur babies!
I cannot recommend Sandra enough!! She is truly an exceptional pet sitter. From the moment she first met my pets, it was clear she had a natural gift for connecting with animals. My dog, who is usually timid, warmed up to her instantly, and my cat (a certified professional skeptic) took a liking to her — which says everything. Throughout the entire week and half I was out of town, Sandra went above and beyond. They followed every care detail perfectly, kept the feeding and schedule consistent, and took the time to play, cuddle, and comfort both pets so they never felt lonely. I received frequent updates with photos and thoughtful notes that made me feel completely at ease while I was away. When I returned home, my pets were relaxed, happy, and clearly well-loved — my dog even looked around the house expecting their new best friend to still be there. The house was spotless, food and water bowls clean, and everything in perfect order. She even left me a thank you note! If you’re searching for someone who is trustworthy, attentive, genuinely caring, and treats your pets like their own, stop looking — Sandra is the one. I am so incredibly grateful for the peace of mind she provided while I was away. I will absolutely be booking with her again! Five stars truly don’t feel like enough.

Talia house sat for me right before the Thanksgiving holiday. I reached out relatively late and Talia got back to me really quickly and set up a meet a greet. My pup seemed happy when I got home and the house was in great condition. Talia even cleaned up when my neighbor dog broke in an tipped over a plant! 🙃 Grateful!

Renee would be given more than five stars if that were an option! She took wonderful care of our cat and dog, who has eye care needs. We returned from our trip to two very happy furry babies! We were able to enjoy our trip knowing they were in such loving hands. I highly recommend, Renee! Our furry babies, loved her!

Madelynne was great! She kept us updated and sent us pictures of our pup everyday. She was very respectful of our place and kept it nice and clean. Would recommend her for any other sitting visits! She was also great with our dog who typically takes some time for her to warm up to new people. Thank you again!!

We had Brieanna sit our two dogs and our cat over Thanksgiving and she was a lifesaver! She sent us regular updates and great photos that made us feel much better about leaving them. She was very honest and contentious about one of our dogs destroying a wastebasket and gave us some great tips about leash training! Our pets had a great time and we will definitely have her sit for us again!

Laurie is a very detailed and conscientious person. At her request, we did two pre-visits to make sure she was comfortable with our set-up and dogs’ routines. She took many notes and followed up when necessary. She was very sweet and attentive to our girls. We have already scheduled a second longer stay. I highly recommend her.
