About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. I also love taking pets on little adventures, like trips to nearby parks, to keep them engaged and happy. “Paloma was so wonderful - my cat loved her! Our cat is a bit high maintenance and needs a lot of attention, sometimes acts out, and is happiest when the sitter can stay at our place with her. Paloma was so attentive and really met all of her needs. She sent updates with photos and made us feel so at ease that our cat and our home were in good hands.
