On top of looking after two finicky pups (one is elderly and requires medication, one is shy and stubborn, and they are both bratty), they took great care of our home and made sure to send us updates, even going out of their way to hand feed our little girl her kibbles when she went on hunger strike because of our absence. About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and enjoy their company. I had two Labradors and four cats sharing my home, who have since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. My sister has a middle-aged rescue brindle, a two-year-old calico cat, and a Retriever puppy that I assist caring for which fills that furry gap. My diversity in caring for old and young dogs is extensive along with varieties of dogs from Labradors to Pittbull-mixes to Bassett Hounds. About: Personally trained and cared for 30+ dogs. Proud owner of a German Shepherd named Blitzen and I've cared for multiple pets at the same time over the years. I firmly believe exercise is necessary for happy owners and pets alike. Leadership never turns off. I live off a simple and disciplined schedule. I'm almost always up before 05:00 with the exception of weekends and the first things I do as part of my morning routine is let the dogs out, meditate, and then take my dog Blitzen for a run. I have a large backyard that is enclosed by walls. Every pup I house I exercise, as it's important for their mental health (and mine), and it helps them acclimate to a new environment. I've trained multiple dogs and I'm adapted to recognizing and preventing unwanted fights and scenarios of that nature. I care for all pets in the same manner and typically follow leadership strategies recommended by Cesar Milan & Don Sullivan such as implementing rules, boundaries, and limitations as well as showing affection at the appropriate time so as not to encourage nervous and aggressive energy. Dogs have been a large part of my well-being and happiness and I understand that they have specific needs as well. Leadership to me entails leading my own life and practicing personal integrity. Every pup I've met or trained offers new opportunities for patience and learning and I'm happy to accept that challenge.
