Rover is my full time job. I usually work weekday mornings and afternoons, but I'm happy to work with clients individually to come up with a schedule that works. Let me come to you! “August was a wonderful caregiver to our 2 mid-sized labrador mix dogs, one 12yrs, one 6yrs. August slept in our home during our family's wk long vacation. They provided several walks a day, fed, medicated and supported a relaxing, consistent environment for our beloved pups. Our older dog required medical support while in Augusts' care. August maintained conversation, with health updates with our veterinarian and myself which allowed me peace of mind while we were traveling. August was able to set up and manage playdates and excursions with our friends for our 2 pups. August left our home and our pups in perfect shape and I was very grateful for their presence. I highly recommend August and will absolutely use them again.”

About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!
