“This is our second time using Alexus and she did not disappoint, yet again! She’s so diligent and attentive to our pups every need and more. She goes above and beyond to make sure our dogs don’t even miss us while we are away! She stays on schedule so they don’t feel a change in routine. We are so grateful for her! She is the best and I highly recommend her for loving your fur babies while away. Thank you million’s Alexus!”

“Leah always takes very good care of my high maintenance fur babes! Keeps me updated with videos, pictures, and messages. She goes beyond what my expectations are. I highly recommend Leah I already have her booked for another 3 times.”

“Thanks to Juan for looking after our dog and home while we were on vacation. He provided regular updates and gave us piece of mind while we were far away for an extended trip.”

“Yet again, Autumn went above and beyond in taking care of my beloved cat, Zayda. She sent awesome pictures that showed how well they were getting along, and stayed an extra night when I had to change my travel plans. I trust Autumn completely with my animals, and my animals are my life. I know that she loves my fur kids, too. Very grateful to have found her!”

“Brigit stayed with my cat, Minnie Muusah, for one night this week and everything seemed to go very well. Minnie is not exactly a social cat. She was traumatized as a kitten and although she has bonded with me, she is not too keen on having anyone else pet her. Brigit was not put off by this and was flexible when I had to make a small change to my travel plans. I'll invite her back the next time I need to leave town. I recommend Brigit for other pet-sitting positions.”
“Jessie did a super job. She provided great care and communication over a long weekend, and my dog and dwelling were is superior shape upon my return. Much thanks to Jessie!”
About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and enjoy their company. I had two Labradors and four cats sharing my home, who have since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. My sister has a middle-aged rescue brindle, a two-year-old calico cat, and a Retriever puppy that I assist caring for which fills that furry gap. My diversity in caring for old and young dogs is extensive along with varieties of dogs from Labradors to Pittbull-mixes to Bassett Hounds. I love how pets fill our hearts with love and affection and I enjoy being with them, caring and playing with them. Being retired I can spend as much time as needed to care for your fur babies. My versatile schedule allows me availability to be with them whenever needed to let them out, play, feed and check on them. I look forward to meeting them, and you. I have done house and pet sitting for many years bringing experience and attention to every home and pet I meet. One of my goals is to bring comfort when you are away knowing your home and pets are well cared for. My first priority is to be mindful of the location of each dog and cat while there. Safety is most important, being aware of closed doors and gates to avoid any mishaps and alert to anything on the floor or within reach that could be ingested. Every pet has their unique habits and I am careful to learn those from you and them and focus on their needs. I enjoy giving people that comfort knowing their fur babies and their home are in good hands.
“Gabriel was quick to respond, flexible, and took amazing care of my two dogs who have very different energy levels. He was communicative while I was gone, and even stayed the night with them. You can tell he really loves animals and takes great care of them!”

“As always, Ava takes great care of my Tallulah & Dennis. Always prompt and arrives when she says. I’m so appreciative of the great care she gives my 2. Especially my Dennis who doesn’t really like anyone but me. She provides regular updates and communicates often. I’m so appreciative and grateful. She is a blessing.”

“Malcom did a terrific job taking care of our two dogs and the rest of the house. His communication was excellent and timely. I would highly recommend him for your dog and house sitting needs.”

“Brooke kept us up to date on our pet while away and was always timely in responding to questions and messages. Our home and pet were well taken care of during our time away. Highly recommend Brooke.”

About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. I also love taking pets on little adventures, like trips to nearby parks, to keep them engaged and happy. For your peace of mind, I’m happy to provide daily updates with photos and messages, so you always know your pet is safe, relaxed, and having a great time.

“Rose did a great job with my very shy and anxious kitty! Normally my cat hides in my bedroom the entire time I have a sitter... because Rose was patient and respectful of her majesty's boundaries, my girl felt comfortable enough to roam around the house, jump up on windowsills, and gaze out the front door - all things she normally doesn't do with a sitter. Definitely will hire Rose again!”

“Candace took wonderful care of our dogs over Christmas! She was attentive, reliable, and handled everything with ease, including one of our dogs who requires a little extra patience. Coming home to happy dogs and a clean house was such a relief. We were very impressed and are excited to have found someone we can rely on for our future petsitting needs. We would not hesitate to use Candace again!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner all my life, not only have I cared/owned dogs, but cats and reptiles too! I love all animals and have cared for special needs and elderly dogs. I am currently working part time in the Army and I’m a full time college student. The flexibility with my schedule leaves me with a lot of availability for your fur babies! I specialize in house sittings so that your pup is still comfortable and in a familiar environment. I have no problem tending to your pups day to day schedule and needs. This of course includes, walks, specific dinner times, and whatever other needs your dog may have. I only take one sitting at a time to ensure your pups receive my undivided attention and pristine service!
Snow Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alexus was amazing!! She took notes during the meet and greet and was so sweet to my energetic bully and kitties. During my trip she made sure to update me everyday (including pictures) and was prompt in responding back if I ever messaged her with any questions. I came home to happy and loved fur babies. I've already booked her again!

Excellent and prompt communication, appropriately cautious when meeting a new dog, did everything I requested including watering plants and refilling bird feeders. Stayed with my dog all day on the one of the two days I was gone that she wasn’t working. Everything was clean and tidy and as I left it. I appreciate everything and will definitely hire her again if she isn’t already booked!

Emma was a phenomenal house-sitter for our busy home of two cats and a high energy 7-month old puppy. She was a lifesaver accepting our week-long sitting request with just a week of notice. She took great photos of all three animals and gave us detailed updates of daily activities. Emma followed all requests with ease and even changed up her work schedule to accommodate our puppy’s needs. We would happily book her services again. Thank you Emma!!

Grace was available last minute for pet sitting in my house, and was very accommodating for my open-ended return. She sent pictures and good updates daily. The house looked great when I returned and my dog was very relaxed - I could tell she had enjoyed her stay with Grace and that Grace had treated her very well. I can recommend Grace for your peace of mind while you are away.

Vy did an amazing job looking after our Cosmo! she abide by all of our requests, and was able to fit in in such short notice! Cosmo was super happy that somebody stayed with him, it was his first day alone without either of us, so being able to find a sitter to watch him when he’s just a puppy was amazing! I will definitely book with Vy again in the future!

Josephine took amazing care of my 13 year old shih-tzu Chloe, and was extremely attentive to all of her needs. Chloe has separation anxiety, so I was worried to travel but Josephine was reliable, communicative and made me feel so much more comfortable being away from my pup! Chloe was clearly so well taken care of & loved for 😊
