Our dogs were obsessed with Hoss from the first moment, and I have no doubt our precious ones felt safe and cared for the entire time. On top of looking after two finicky pups (one is elderly and requires medication, one is shy and stubborn, and they are both bratty), they took great care of our home and made sure to send us updates, even going out of their way to hand feed our little girl her kibbles when she went on hunger strike because of our absence. Hoss is attentive and understanding, a true animal lover. And to top it all off they have a great personality, radiating kindness and fun energy. We would be lucky to have them sit for us again. 10/10 highly recommend.”

Other sitters I’ve used just pop in for meals and leave, then come back close to midnight, only to sleep and take off again in the morning. Autumn actually spent time with them. I always worry about the old guy falling…and the reactive one is a handful…absolutely no worries with her here! Another review noted how clean she was - and they were right - you’d never know she was here…not that I would have minded a mess, as my 3 dogs are a handful and she was so great with them. About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles.
