About: My family has a history of adopting older dogs and rescues with health and behavioral problems, so I have lots of experience with senior dogs and dogs who need extra care and attention. Rover is my full time job. I usually work weekday mornings and afternoons, but I'm happy to work with clients individually to come up with a schedule that works. Let me come to you! About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and enjoy their company. I had two Labradors and four cats sharing my home, who have since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. My sister has a middle-aged rescue brindle, a two-year-old calico cat, and a Retriever puppy that I assist caring for which fills that furry gap. My diversity in caring for old and young dogs is extensive along with varieties of dogs from Labradors to Pittbull-mixes to Bassett Hounds. I love how pets fill our hearts with love and affection and I enjoy being with them, caring and playing with them. Being retired I can spend as much time as needed to care for your fur babies. My versatile schedule allows me availability to be with them whenever needed to let them out, play, feed and check on them. I look forward to meeting them, and you. I have done house and pet sitting for many years bringing experience and attention to every home and pet I meet. One of my goals is to bring comfort when you are away knowing your home and pets are well cared for. My first priority is to be mindful of the location of each dog and cat while there. Safety is most important, being aware of closed doors and gates to avoid any mishaps and alert to anything on the floor or within reach that could be ingested. Every pet has their unique habits and I am careful to learn those from you and them and focus on their needs. About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. About: I have been around animals my entire life. Dogs and cats mostly, with this I am aware of how much love and care goes into taking care of our little fur babies. I have had 5 cats and 4 dogs in my entire 24 years of life. I am not scared to play with them if they want, I will give unconditional love to your fur babies like they are my own. I am not a licensed trainer or anything of those sorts, but I am compassionate for animals, and they will be in good hands with me. I am currently able to play with your babies whenever you need and they need! I am currently going to school to become a teacher and also working part-time.
