About: I started volunteering at vet clinics in 2006. I've been caring for other people's pets since 2012, including dogs, cats, exotic birds, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am experienced with special needs animals, elderlies, and those recovering from surgery. I've completed over 100 volunteer hours walking rescue dogs at Animal Humane New Mexico (AHNM). I am comfortable working with some behavioral challenges. Helping out with pets is my favorite thing to do! Outside the home or your fenced yard, dogs will be on-leash and distanced from other animals and people. I do not mix animals from different homes.

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and enjoy their company. I had two Labradors and four cats sharing my home, who have since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. My sister has a middle-aged rescue brindle, a two-year-old calico cat, and a Retriever puppy that I assist caring for which fills that furry gap. My diversity in caring for old and young dogs is extensive along with varieties of dogs from Labradors to Pittbull-mixes to Bassett Hounds. I love how pets fill our hearts with love and affection and I enjoy being with them, caring and playing with them. Being retired I can spend as much time as needed to care for your fur babies. My versatile schedule allows me availability to be with them whenever needed to let them out, play, feed and check on them. I look forward to meeting them, and you. I have done house and pet sitting for many years bringing experience and attention to every home and pet I meet. One of my goals is to bring comfort when you are away knowing your home and pets are well cared for. My first priority is to be mindful of the location of each dog and cat while there. Safety is most important, being aware of closed doors and gates to avoid any mishaps and alert to anything on the floor or within reach that could be ingested. Every pet has their unique habits and I am careful to learn those from you and them and focus on their needs. I love all dogs and just want them to be cared for whi families enjoy their time away I’m retired so I have an open schedule and am free for days or weeks depending on your needs. I can housework or host. Just let me know anytime I have a gated yard as well as doggie door access and don’t really crate animals. I let them run free in the house unless otherwise specified
