About: I have worked in zoos, wildlife rehabs, and shelters for over 5 years. I am well-versed in operant conditioning training and provided medication to many species including dogs, cats, and birds. My schedule is very flexible, so I can drop by to care for your pet in your home anytime that fits your schedule! I am not available for boarding pets at my home at this time. I am unavailable for long term stays, e.g. longer than one week I always take into account the owner's preferences for their pet. I will adapt to the way you want your pet to be cared for. With my background in the zoo field, working inside specific parameters is how animals get the best care in the way they are used to.

I highly recommend Wendy and will definitely use her again.”

“Savannah did a wonderful job watching my cats this past weekend. She was willing to come to the house for a meet and greet the weekend prior and checked in with a Rover card and sweet photos of the cats during her drop-in. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I'll take your dog out for some fun and enriching exercise while peacefully training them to calmly follow along at your side with no pulling, whining, or reacting! I am a dog trainer, field biologist, and academic coach driven to lead people towards a mutually fulfilling life with their dogs, and to share my knowledge and wonder of nature to promote stewardship and love for all sentient beings. I have cared for family pets (cats, dogs, fish, rodents, rabbits, etc) throughout my life, and I have performed extensive animal husbandry during my PhD in Animal Behavior and Ecology (I have even trained and rehabbed hummingbirds!). I began formally dog walking and training in January 2025 and have helped each of my clients transform their relationships with their dogs by learning how to efficiently and peacefully communicate. I hope to: 1) refresh your dog's basic obedience and floppy leash walking skills; 2) help you be aware of your dog's body language, and your own habits; and 3) empower you to become the leader your dog needs! I am happy to offer free nail checks and trimming! 1% of all proceeds will go to Blackhat Humane Society, a Navajo Nation rescue/ foster organization where I adopted my service dog Louie from! I am currently based in Albuquerque, and I have a very flexible work and life schedule, so I can likely accommodate requests for walks at any time and frequency! I have an extensive experience house and pet (and plant!) sitting for family and friends, and I always treat clients' dogs and homes with utmost respect. I am currently unable to host pets in my home.

About: I might not have the most experience as others on this app but my family and I thrive in the love of animals. From my great grandparents raising parrots of every breed to us owning animals since I was born I consider myself a huge animal lover of any kind. As someone without kids I truly understand what it means for your animals to be your babies and I always keep my own in mind for how I’d want them to be cared for when caring for someone else’s! Hi there! I love animals and have two of my own, a Sun Conure and a cat that truly are family to me. I have cared for animals for friends throughout duty stations I’ve lived at and I’m very attentive and like to try to have a connection with each and every animal, meaning that I sincerely care for each one and try to understand them as an individual. I know that not every dog (or cat) is the same and I will do my best to make your fur baby as happy as possible! I am flexible and will do my utmost to assure you that your babies are in great hands! I look forward to meeting you and your sweet babies! I'm currently working full time as a Dental Assistant and have a set schedule that will ensure that I am able to tend to your babies without things getting the way like working overtime or anything like that, ensuring I show up when you need me to! I don't offer pet-sitting in my own home currently, but I'm comfortable with dogs and especially the sassy cat. I take my cues from the owner and am happy to treat your fur family in the same way you would.

Erich E.Star Sitter
“We have a 2.5 year old Husky-Australian Cattle Dog mix with more energy than she knows what to do with. While she is a smart, gentle, happy, and kind pup, she definitely has a hard time on walks… she goes into sled pulling mode. We’ve struggled with it for about a year and a half and kid you not - in 2 sessions with Erich, she suddenly knew how to stick by our side. He was patient with our dog and he taught us the skills and tactics to keep her by our side on walks so that she listens and obeys us, even when Erich isn’t there. We’re very grateful for Erich’s help and have talked about how we think he might be a dog whisperer!! Highly recommend working with Erich!”

Kimberly L.
“Hello! I have two four-legged girls that I love very much. I am a picky dog mom who always wants the best for them, as you do for yours. I occasionally have to go out of town and want to be sure they are well cared for. I lost my last caregiver, so I did lots of research in my community and had good reports on Kimberly. She certainly lived up to her recommendations, and perhaps even exceeded them. She understands dogs, and after meeting my pitties, she was happy to care for them. We arranged for check-in calls, she took them for walks and played with them. I had a special request for certain rubs and massages, and it was no problem. When I picked up my girls, they were happy, clean, and energetic. I think you can be confident in Kimberly's care for your fur babies.”

Erin D.

“Erin was kind, communicative, and an amazing carer for our little guy! Exceeded my expectations. I couldn’t recommend Erin enough!”

Henry L.
“Henry was a joy to work with. He’s friendly, punctual, responsible, and treated my dogs like his own. I’m sad that my Wisconsin go-to guy has moved, but New Mexico is so very lucky to have him.”

Ashlynn M.
“I have known Ashlynn for over 5 years. She has taken care of my Lab, Carmel, on numerous occasions during that time. What first impressed me about Ashlynn was her love of animals. Her own animals are treated as family members. And I know that she treats Carmel the same way. Carmel is more excited to see her than she is to see me, lol! It means so much to have the peace of mind of knowing that my dog is in good hands and well taken care of when I am away.”
