Doug seemed to figure out our dog’s play style, and shared with us new tricks Akira and him were doing. It sounded like they really had a fun time. Plus our dog got to meet new friends, go on lots of walks, and had a good amount of attention and treats.”

“This was my first time having my dog stay with someone other than a friend and I will admit I was quite nervous about giving him to a stranger so it was very important that both my boyfriend and I felt comfortable with who we chose. I usually leave him with friends and family but in this instance it was not working out so I looked into both Rover and DogVacay. After talking with a few different sitters, both my boyfriend and I felt most comfortable with Mereya. She responded very fast to all of my questions pre-booking, was very understanding of my concerns, and was very accommodating when it came to pick-up and drop-off times. Maverick stayed with her and her fiancee for about a day and a half while I traveled out of town and she texted me photo updates and videos a few times a day, which was very reassuring that my dog was having a blast. If I ever texted her, she was very quick to respond. Since he was there over the New Year, she even took a Polaroid New Year picture of him to take home, which I thought was an adorable idea. When I went to pick up my dog it became clear that he had a good time, as he ran away from me when he realized we were leaving and cemented himself to the couch. Overall, I would completely recommend her and if I ever run into a similar situation again I will definitely be sending my dog back to her and her fiancee. Maverick had a wonderful time staying with them and I would definitely feel comfortable with him going back. :)”

“Diane is a phenomenal person who was extremely accommodating with our pickup time, since our flight was delayed. She sent me updates every day with pictures and videos. “Brain did a fantastic job with my pups. I knew from his listing and our meet and greet that he was the person I wanted for my pups and was well worth driving from the other side of town. His home inside and out was perfectly set up for fun and rest for dogs. My one is more hyper with so much energy came home exhausted. Brian did well with giving medication to my elderly dog. He kept me updated when I was on my work trip so I didn’t need to worry. Thank you so much Brian!!”

“Brian watched our pup, Jazz. It was her first time ever being boarded…and for 9 days! She’d spent time with him and his dog and other playmates before this and so we already knew it was a a good fit. Still, we couldn’t help being a little nervous. Brian reassured us every step of the way and regularly sent pictures of Jazz and her staycation with all of her buddies. She was happy to see us and come home and was without a trace of anxiety, proving she was well cared for and content. We would 100% be lucky to have Brian board her in the future. “Kendrick absolutely loved his stay with Erica & Jose! He fit right in with all the other dogs and got so much energy out playing with Meeko and another dog that was staying with them at the time. “I will definitely be having Tina stay with Holly and Andrew again. You can tell they are very comfortable with all sorts of dogs as well as boarding. Tina is a smaller mini pinscher with a big attitude, she is a Houdini and was worried about leaving her for a whole week as she has run away before and sometimes is anxious about making friends with new dogs as well as new people. But— Holly and Andrew were so good with her from the get go and sent me pictures every day while I was on vacation, so I felt at ease. They also kept her separate as much as she needed from other dogs although I can tell she had a lot of fun and built a lot of confidence from making new friends this week. We plan on having her come back in the future for even smaller patches of time as possible for her to socialize or future vacation trips given the trust I now have in Holly and Andrew.”
