About: Please note: I will only be in the Albuquerque area until May. I am more than happy to care for your furry friend until then but if you are looking to establish a long term relationship with a sitter, unfortunately I may not be the best option. My name is Katie. I’m a full time dog groomer and have a lot of experience working with pets. I have been around dogs since the day I was born, never without one in my life. I grew up with two gentle giants, my parents Bouviers, Bear and Irving. I have since adopted my own dog, Sheba, a rescue from the humane society of New Mexico. I love dogs, as well as cats, and I cannot imagine my life without them. I do not offer any grooming services through Rover, but I’d be happy to set up appointments at my place of work! I look forward to hearing from you! I work four days per week, 8 hour shifts. As far as boarding, your pet will be free to roam my home while I am at work. If you prefer I kennel them, I am happy to do that as well. I will never leave my dog or any dog I am sitting alone for longer than 8 and a half hours, but they would be alone for the day while I work. For this reason, I cannot accept puppies that are currently being potty trained and I cannot accept dogs that cannot be left alone unless we discuss this prior to the booking. I have a home and can offer multiple walks per day. I do not have a yard but can ensure that each dog spends plenty of time outside.

About: I have a 5-year old dog, Roxy, who is very sweet and loves making new dog friends. We live in a home with a fenced-in yard and about one block from a park that is great for dog walks. I can provide a large crate if needed. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to meet your needs. I’m typically available for contact unless I’m in a meeting, but will respond soon after. Roxy gets backyard playtime and walks around the park daily. She eats one large bowl of food in the evening and also receives treats. Of course I can accommodate your dog’s schedule and needs.

Celeste and her dog Murphy took great care of our skittish Jindo during our quick trip out of town. Our guy got lots of walks and lots of attention, and we appreciated the photos and updates Celeste sent. I absolutely recommend Celeste for her calm, kind and capable dog care!
We were in a bind due to a family emergency which prohibited us from taking the dog, and very apprehensive about the safety and care of our beloved Mowgli. Such gratitude that Cindy stepped in, we were able to meet that day and throughout the trip we received updates showing Mowgli so well cared for. When we got home he was completely contented. Thank you Rover and especially Cindy - you gave us peace of mind at a time when it meant so much.
We traditionally have used canine country club in the past, however we were in a bind because our 7 month old golden retriever is not spayed (vet recommended to wait a year). My sister recommended Rover (new to us). We found Erich and he seemed to be a fit. It was a confirmed win from the introduction! Erich (and Louie) were calm, fun, interesting, engaging and welcoming! Erich has a very special skill training dogs/puppies that provide immediate results. We could tell he cared deeply for his dog Louie and bestowed that love on our puppy as well. Our Golden stayed overnight with them and was happy, healthy, and far better behaved when we picked her up than when she was dropped off. A huge thank you to Erich and Louie for giving Montana your time, skill, love and attention!
Holly is THE best - she was so loving with our three dogs while we went to our daughter’s college graduation. No small task - as all three are different sizes, have different needs, and two are seniors. She handled it all like a champ and our dogs were so well taken care of. She also sent updates along the way and took them for walks - but most importantly she made sure they were comfortable and loved! We will be using Holly again!
Chisa is FANTASTIC! She took such gentle care of my elder dog. He normally shows some anxiety when we are away … however with Chisa’s love and attentiveness … he showed little to no signs of anxiety. Chisa sent daily updates of my very happy dog. Thank you Chisa!
