About: I’ve dog sat for most of my life, I have a love for all dogs and deeply believe dogs are family and should be treated and cared for as such I currently work full time on the weekends so I am usually off on weekdays and would love some company cuddling on the couch or on walks. About: I mostly have experience with medium to larger dogs. I love going on walks so I will take pets along for the journey. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. I have plenty of free time for pets and love to get out and about like going for walks, hikes and enjoying the sun. I have a private small patio with many dogs parks in my apartment complex. Also close to my apartment is a golf course that is a clear and safe walk for fur babies. I can crate your dog if needed (: they are allowed on furniture to make them feel like home!

About: A little about me: I’ve had a dog by my side every day since I was six years old — dogs are an integral part of my life, not just something I do on the side. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and temperament, from tiny lap dogs to a 90-pound Labrador, and from bouncy puppies to dogs in their older years. Experience: My deepest experience is with senior and special-needs dogs. My Labrador had a series of health challenges, including three separate leg surgeries. I nursed him through every recovery, which meant walking him with a support sling until he was back on his feet. When he was later diagnosed with cancer, I cared for him through hospice at home — giving his daily medications and keeping him comfortable and loved right to the end. So if your older dog needs medication, a little mobility help, or just extra patience and gentleness, that’s something I genuinely know how to do. I’m just as comfortable with high-energy dogs. That same Labrador was a handful in his younger years, so I know what it takes to keep a strong, active dog happy and well-exercised. I also love puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need. I’m happy to walk more than one dog at a time, and I have experience with leash-reactive dogs — I know how to keep walks calm, controlled, and low-stress for a dog who needs a little extra management. Right now I share my home with two girls — a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix and a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier — so both ends of the age spectrum are part of my daily routine. Before them I’ve cared for several terriers and a Border Collie mix, among others. I walk my own dogs every single day and I’ll keep yours on a good routine too. I’ve also dog-sat for family and friends who were thrilled with the care I provided — beyond looking after their dogs, I kept their homes tidy, watered plants, and brought in mail, treating each home with the same respect I’d give my own. My younger dog gets dedicated playtime with her toys, and my senior girl gets her medication right on schedule every other day. I keep that same consistency and attention for any dog in my care — sticking to your dog's normal feeding, walking, medication, and potty routine so their world stays steady while you're away. When I care for your dog in your home, safety comes first. I keep all doors and gates closed and latched, and I'm constantly aware of where your dog is — especially any time I'm heading in or out, so there's no chance of an escape. I follow whatever house rules and routines you set. I also treat your home with the same respect I give my own. When I dog-sat for family and friends, I kept their house tidy, watered their plants, and brought in mail while they were away. I will leave your home just as you left it, keep you updated with photos while you're gone, and communicate quickly about anything that comes up. My goal is for you to come home to a happy, well-cared-for dog and a house in good order.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life—my dad, my grandparents, everyone in my family had them—so caring for pups is second nature to me. I have a great pyrenees of my own who brings endless joy to my days and loves making new friends. At my home, your dog will have plenty of fun and comfort. I offer a doggie pool for summer splashes, a ball launcher for endless fetch, and a variety of toys to keep tails wagging. If your pup needs a kennel when left alone, I have two here so you won’t need to bring your own. My home comfortably accommodates up to four dogs at a time, so your furry friend will have plenty of company without feeling crowded. “Brian and Jerri are the BEST! This was my first time leaving my 5 year old Azuki with someone through Rover and we had the best experience. Brian and Jerri arranged a meet and greet which was great so we could discuss Azuki's needs as well as the rules of their home. Azuki spent 4 days with them and she came home soooooo happy. Brian was great communicating with me and sent me pictures to show me Azuki was doing well. It was the first time I have left Azuki with someone and felt totally safe and secure that she was being taken care of (even when I have had dogsitters in my own home!) so i didn't feel the need to keep checking on her. Azuki had tons of pets and playtime. We immediately booked our next stay because it went so well! Thank you Brian and Jerri!!!!”
