About: Animals are a large part of my life and I enjoy taking care of each one and their particular needs. I have a wide range of experience from livestock to feathered friends and love them all! I am comfortable administering medication, grooming, playing, and loving on indoor and outdoor animals of all ages. I am attentive to detail and will make sure your pets and home are taking care of to the highest degree. About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and enjoy their company. I had two Labradors and four cats sharing my home, who have since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. My sister has a middle-aged rescue brindle, a two-year-old calico cat, and a Retriever puppy that I assist caring for which fills that furry gap. My diversity in caring for old and young dogs is extensive along with varieties of dogs from Labradors to Pittbull-mixes to Bassett Hounds. I love how pets fill our hearts with love and affection and I enjoy being with them, caring and playing with them. Being retired I can spend as much time as needed to care for your fur babies. My versatile schedule allows me availability to be with them whenever needed to let them out, play, feed and check on them. I look forward to meeting them, and you. I have done house and pet sitting for many years bringing experience and attention to every home and pet I meet. One of my goals is to bring comfort when you are away knowing your home and pets are well cared for. My first priority is to be mindful of the location of each dog and cat while there. Safety is most important, being aware of closed doors and gates to avoid any mishaps and alert to anything on the floor or within reach that could be ingested. About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. We got photos from her every day which helped to ease any anxiety we had about using a new dog sitter. About: I’ve been a pet owner all my life, not only have I cared/owned dogs, but cats and reptiles too! I love all animals and have cared for special needs and elderly dogs. I am currently working part time in the Army and I’m a full time college student. The flexibility with my schedule leaves me with a lot of availability for your fur babies! I specialize in house sittings so that your pup is still comfortable and in a familiar environment. I have no problem tending to your pups day to day schedule and needs. This of course includes, walks, specific dinner times, and whatever other needs your dog may have. We had a very positive experience overall and would absolutely hire Ava again. Once the pet-sitting began, she was dependable and consistent, took initiative without needing much hand-holding, and kept us updated throughout. We especially appreciated that she let us know when supplies were running low and that she cleaned up after herself - those thoughtful details made a big difference and gave us peace of mind. She clearly cared for our pets and our home, and we felt they were in good hands. The one piece of constructive feedback would be around communication before the job started. We had some difficulty reaching her in the days leading up to the visit and again the morning of, which created a little stress on our end. That said, once everything was underway, communication improved significantly, and Ava was reliable and proactive throughout. Overall, she did a very good job, and we’d feel comfortable recommending her to others looking for a caring and capable pet sitter.
Paloma went out of her way to care for our three adult/senior dogs and 15-week-old rescue puppy on relatively short notice, allowing us to spend much-needed quality time with family out of state. We had peace of mind the entire week we were away and returned to happy pets!
Riley was great - she is communicative, sweet, and took good care of my pup and house! My dog was on a couple of meds so was feeling off during her stay and she made sure to give him his meds and was understanding of his weird little behaviors. Josephine took amazing care of my 13 year old shih-tzu Chloe, and was extremely attentive to all of her needs. Chloe has separation anxiety, so I was worried to travel but Josephine was reliable, communicative and made me feel so much more comfortable being away from my pup! Corinne was great - our dogs are very suspicious to everyone they meet, but Corinne made friends with them very fast. She send us daily updates and pictures and we felt that they are in good hands. I would not hesitate to book Corinne again - and I hope she will be available than as well.
