I got daily pictures and updates so that I never had to worry 🥰 Our dog needs daily medicine and they had no problem making sure she got it, they were even able to get around her pill defenses by putting it in cream cheese (a new trick I'm definitely adopting)! I was especially happy to hear how well our dogs got along and that lots of play and tug of war sessions were had 😄 Pepper was treated like family and we'll absolutely rebook next time we have to go away.”

“I thought Maellen was terrific. A few days before our cruise, Lili, our corgi had to be fitted with "the cone of shame" for a skin condition. I contacted Maellen to see if this would create a problem and offered to find another sitter but Maellen said it would be fine. She treated the skin condition twice a day took excellent care of Lili for the 7 day cruise. Lili obviously had a great time and was in excellent condition. She did not seem to be in a big hurry to leave so I know she liked it. THANK YOU, MAELLEN.”
About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: Hey there I'm Cindy, I've raised and trained show dogs and household pets since 1995. I even built my life around staying home for the dogs. I have also been a source of care for neighbors, friends and Airbnb guests. I have a fenced yard with an additional dog run, grass, smooth pebble and even sand. Plenty of trees for shade and a covered patio. The dogs will have indoor/outdoor access and crates for eating and time out. I look forward to helping you and your fur babies. “I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. I felt very comfortabke knowing he would be in the best place away from home. My 12 year old dog takes daily meds that were adminustered properly. He ate his meals,was abke to go into the yard and enjoyed her glass front door to look out. I highly recommend Cindy as a dog sitter and have booked our next visit She is the type of person you can feel confident leaving your beloved pets with.”

“I thought Maellen was terrific. A few days before our cruise, Lili, our corgi had to be fitted with "the cone of shame" for a skin condition. I contacted Maellen to see if this would create a problem and offered to find another sitter but Maellen said it would be fine. She treated the skin condition twice a day took excellent care of Lili for the 7 day cruise. Lili obviously had a great time and was in excellent condition. She did not seem to be in a big hurry to leave so I know she liked it. THANK YOU, MAELLEN.”

“Esperita was very good and very accommodating. we had to leave early at the last minute and Esperita took the dogs one day early without hesitation. She even changed the booking so all we had to do was accept which made it easy on us. She also took pictures of the dogs and wrote to us every day telling us what they did that day and how they were doing. We will definitely use Esperita again.”

“Apollo can be a handful with his anxiety and reactivity, and Bri handled it beautifully. They had a rocky first night, because he kept barking at every small noise. After several hours of this, he had her a bit worried about whether or not she could get him to settle down and sleep. But she stuck with it and got him to calm down and pass out. From there the visit went great. She followed our feeding and medication instructions exactly, worked on some training with him during his stay, and did a nice job with redirecting his attention when he got reactive on walks. Communication was excellent throughout. I received regular photos and updates, and she flagged any concerns as they came up rather than letting them sit. The best sign of how the weekend went: at pickup, Apollo planted himself on and between her feet multiple times while we were talking about how the weekend went. He clearly trusts and adores her, which can be difficult given his anxiety. We'll absolutely be booking with her again!”
