About: I've been around animals my entire life and grew up with both dogs and cats as part of the family. My current dog, Harley (pictured in my profile photo), has given me firsthand experience with specialty diets, medications, and the extra attention some pets need to thrive. When I was younger, I ran my own dog-walking business, caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I've also cared for cats during recovery from procedures such as spaying and neutering, ensuring they stayed comfortable and received the attention they needed. Whether it's a playful puppy, a senior pet, or a shy cat, I enjoy getting to know each animal's unique personality. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care and give pet owners peace of mind while they're away. I am home for the summer with open availability most days, making it easy for me to accommodate flexible scheduling and last-minute requests when needed. About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles.
