“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”

About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

“5+ stars! Spencer was an excellent sitter for our dog Luna! He was incredibly flexible, had great communication and took very good care of Luna. We left her with him 3 different days while visiting Maine and we could tell that she had a great time and enjoyed her stay with Spencer and Buster! She was always happy and very tired when we picked her up so I know that she was well taken care of, stayed active and was very loved! We highly recommend Spencer as a Rover sitter and will 100 percent use him again if we ever return to Brunswick! :) Thank you Spencer and Buster! Buster was a cutie and Luna got along with him very well btw! :)”

If you are in need of drop-in visits, my fiance does come along for meet and greets and occasional visits as well. In both my home and my client's homes, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment for pets. This includes maintaining a consistent feeding and exercise schedule tailored to each pets needs. I ensure plenty of playtime and mental stimulation through interactive toys and games. Additionally, I maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning feeding areas, litter boxes, and any pet messes promptly. About: From fostering a Great Dane and her seven puppies to caring for my own aging dog sick with cancer, I can care for animals at any stage. I’m newish on Rover, but I have been traveling and pet sitting all over the country, so my reviews are on Trusted House Sitter for reference. I look forward to chatting! I work during the week and remotely at times, so I have flexibility to accommodate any schedule. I have a car and can transport wherever. It’s just me and my dog in my apartment, but we have a first floor with a small yard out front that Kesey likes to sunbathe in. All the neighbors stop and say hello.

About: Hello, my name is Tabatha and I started pet-sitting for my aunt and her 7 cats when I was 14. I am now 35, and she now has one doggy that I continue to care for. I always enjoy the time I am able to spend with different animals as a pet sitter. I grew up in a rented home and wasn't able to have my own pets until I was 16. At 16 I was adopted by a beautiful tuxedo tom cat named "Moo." I had 15 wonderful years with my baby. My partner and I just adopted a stray kitten we found. Her name is Sprout. She is playful, but not aggressive. We are currently having clients do a meet and greet with her at our place before accepting any boarding requests. I've been a volunteer at the Albuquerque Eastside shelter, and I am looking forward to volunteering there soon, and at some point Walking in Circles Ranch. I have taken an animal first aid course with the Red Cross and hope to further that knowledge more this year. I have experience with small pets like mice, guinea pigs, and hedgehogs. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and cats. I also pet/house sit regularly for multiple-pet homes. PLEASE NOTE: During the summer, I do not walk dogs on city streets between the hours of 10 am and 8 pm. It gets too hot for me and the pups. I don't mind taking them to a park though! When house-sitting I prefer to have a visual walk through of procedures and also written instructions. I follow orders exactly and contact owners if there are any questions. I send pictures often of pets. I keep homes and animal areas as they were when owners left. I am also comfortable administering medications.
