About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have completed multiple animal care courses, including a small animals class that covered a wide range of pets. I am home from college for the summer and am ready to tend to your pet at anytime! My hours are very flexible throughout the summer. I will let your pet out, make sure they have food, water, and much love throughout the day. I also love to go on walks with them.

About: I love animals and always had a dog or cat or both. They were healthy, well cared for, got lots of attention and were considered part of the family. Fast forward, I got certified as a foster for the SPCA, volunteer at the local shelter, am a contact for the DFW wildlife hotline, and certified in two other wildlife areas. I have fostered, helped re-home, and cared for a few handicapped and senior dogs that are blind, deaf, need medication, can barely walk or need to be taken out every hour. Whether long brisk walks, playing outside or simply being cared for at home due to health issues, your pet will get lots of attention, cuddles, exercise, and play according to their health and energy levels. I'm a retired professional that loves animals. I will NOT be working remotely on a computer or phone for hours while ignoring your pet. Your pet IS my job. I will physically be where your pet is whether inside my house or playing outside. Although experienced, I'm new on Rover. I volunteer many hours so please notify me 1-2 weeks in advance so I can adjust my volunteer schedule. Otherwise, first come first serve. Your pet's safety is paramount. Inside my home: I ensure there are no exposed electrical wires, poisonous plants, no accessible chemicals, or toys that may be swallowed. I have a very large, fenced yard. I keep your phone and vet's phone numbers readily accessible. After greeting your pet, I observe their behavior to ensure they look physically well and respond and move healthily.

About: Growing up there was always a dog in the house. When I was young my family had a Dobermann Pinscher and when he passed away we got two Beagles! I love any size and breed of dogs. Since dogs have always been a part of my life I am very competent in my abilities to care for them and keep them safe. I recently moved to Texas from Minnesota and do not have a dog of my own here. I am currently working as a nurse but usually have four days off each week which gives me lots of time to walk dogs and board dogs on the weekend! I am currently living in an apartment but know how important it is to keep the dog on a leash whenever leaving the apartment. Before I moved to Texas there was always a dog around so I am aware of how to keep a home environment that is safe for dogs. There are lots of great walking areas around my apartment and I understand the importance of keeping the dog on the leash and avoiding busy roads when walking to ensure your dogs safety!

We are currently a pet free home, but I would love to play with your pets. I also have experience with senior pets, strict medication regiments, and am very accommodating for special needs animals. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my love and experience towards my own animals! I was a cat mom for 13 years, am now a dog mom of a 1 year old cocker spaniel, 5 year old springer spaniel, and of course my 13 chickens! All of these animals I’ve had since they were babies and devoted much of my time, love, and care into. I would love to be able give the same love and care towards yalls fur babies while yall don’t have the time to do so!😌 Since I have many animals of my own most of my days consist of animal care 24/7! Now that I have more time on my hands i would love to help care for yalls! My 2 dogs are kennel and house trained and also know basic obedience as well as sit and stay, which I have taught them both to do on my own. I have exact times that they get fed twice a day so I am good at keeping up with a feeding schedule! I let them outside very often as well as play with them outside lots of the time.
