About: I'm pretty new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with dogs, cats, hedgehogs, fish, and other small pets. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including seniors, and have experience administering oral medications, handling emergencies, and providing daily exercise and enrichment. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before services to learn your pet’s routine and ensure they feel comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, my goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority, and I treat every home with respect—often leaving it a little cleaner than I found it. I am working a part time job during the weekdays, usually the shifts are 11am-4 or 5pm, and on the weekends I work longer shifts which vary in time. However... I have many weeks off here and there so I am free a lot of the time. My job is pretty flexible most of the time so I can leave work to walk your pups and make sure they are okay and then go back to work. My yard has an Invisible Fence for my dogs which works out quite nicely and whenever I have other people's dogs over I make sure to keep them on a leash so no accidents happen. That being said, I live with my parents so I would be more geared towards servicing in home visits and stays with your pets at your home.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and have taken care of friends and neighbors pets for many years. I am very punctual and always make sure your pets receive the best care, and lots of love and cuddles. I am currently UVM nursing alum with lots of free time on my hands this summer to walk, feed, play with, and let out pets. My availability should be accurate, but sometimes changes. As a university student studying psychology and kinesiology, my schedule requires a bit of balance, but it also gives me great flexibility! I am available for pet care from Friday to Monday. Because my evenings are adaptable, I am also available for late-night check-ins. Having grown up with various breeds and worked professionally in pet care, I have a strict rule of keeping all dogs securely leashed whenever they are outside or on walks. I am also fully experienced with crate training and can comfortably crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine. I had a dog growing up and have a cat from childhood into my twenties, so caring for pets has always been a part of my daily routine. From walks, playtime, and training reinforcement to litter care, feeding schedules, and lots of cuddles — I’m comfortable and confident with both dogs and cats. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m currently applying to graduate school for my Master’s in Nursing and working part-time, which has helped me become very organized, responsible, and mindful with my schedule. I plan my days carefully and make sure I have dedicated time set aside for pet visits, walks, feeding, and quality attention. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and spending time with pets is actually a great balance to my academic and work responsibilities. Whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening care, I make sure each visit is unhurried, attentive, and focused on your pet’s safety and comfort. I’m very affectionate and love giving pets the attention they deserve, but I also prioritize safety above everything. About: I can help with simple training, walking them, playing with them, and keeping them company. I can help with their energy and also feed them! I will have another job but I’ll be able to pick up to pet sit whenever I’m available. I’ll be able to do this multiple times a week and help out whenever I can! I can keep them company and make sure they are behaving while also playing with them. I won’t let them chew on furniture but will play with toys with them.

About: Hey, I’m Lucas! I’m from South Kingstown, RI, and I’ve been around animals my whole life. Right now, I live with two dogs, two cats, guinea pigs, and even some reptiles, so I’m pretty used to taking care of a variety of pets. Currently, I’m a full-time security guard supervisor and a full-time student at URI. While my schedule is busy, Rover allows me to combine my love for animals with the flexibility I need to support myself through college. I’m here to do what I love: care for pets, ensuring they feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s walking dogs, playing with cats, or just making sure your pet is comfortable while you’re away, I’m here to help. I’ve had pets all my life, so I understand how important it is for them to get attention and care. I’d love to meet your furry (or scaly) friends and make sure they’re happy while you’re out! I am a full time security guard and student at URI but I can house/pet sit any night from 8pm-8am. I am also happy to do stop ins, and walks in the mornings. I am very experienced with a lot of animals, and all at once. If you need someone who genuinely cares about your babies I’m your guy!!

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! I promise to take the best care of your pet and give them all the love they need when you can’t be home. I am very dependable, patient and trustworthy. I was a preschool special education teacher in Providence for 16 years before I became a stay at home mom. My kids are teens now, so have some time to devote to pet care. I'm currently a stay at home mom and I help my parents out as well. I have plenty of time to pop in for walks, bathroom breaks, feeding, playing and giving lots of LOVE to your pet! I will follow your directions "down to a T." I will give your pets lots of love and keep them safe while you are away! I am super trustworthy, dependable, kind and patient.

About: From my childhood Rottweiler, Diamond, to my Yorkie, Coco, I’ve always had an affinity for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Then I became a cat mom at age 21, and fell in love with how funny and independent they are. From a the age of 8, I’ve been trusted to walk, feed, train, bathe, and administer medication. I’ve always had a passion for learning about animal health, behavior and psychology. I pride myself on being very responsible and a natural caretaker. I love making sure my furry friends are happy, healthy, and well fed. But most of all, I love making sure they feel loved and respected. I’m a freelancer and I work from home, so I have open availability for pet care! I’m a morning person, so I can be ready for a walk as early as 6am. It all depends on what you need. I never feed pets table food and I will never bring any toxic foods into your home. I will follow any and all directions given to me regarding safety

About: I have volunteered for years at an animal shelter with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I took multiple training courses at the shelter to be able to work with dogs that may need more care and attention, as well as for those that may be more reactive. I have also owned dogs my entire life and have been tasked numerous times with walking/watching people's dogs! I work remotely so I am able to watch your pet anytime throughout the day, and I am able to walk them anytime as I have more flexibility! I also finish work at 3pm so I am completely open after that time. I am experienced with working with dogs of all temperaments, as well as experienced and trained with walking dogs around other dogs, including more reactive dogs.

About: I have always loved taking care of animals. I often take care of families pets when needed. I have also taken care of friends pets. I go to school at the University of Rhode Island. I have time in between my classes to make some extra cash and I have always loved looking after dogs and cats I take care of my aunts dog the most. Take him out for walks and to use the potty. Feed him. And obviously making sure he is the happiest puppy in town.
