Pet care is my full-time work, so I have lots of flexibility. I build my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for and will do my best to accommodate anything from quick walks to extended stays. Please note that for walks or drop in visits before 8am or after 7pm, there is an additional $10 charge per visit.

I love taking long walks through the neighborhood, letting your pup sniff, explore, and enjoy all the sights and smells. If they’re playful, we’ll run around and play fetch. If they’re more relaxed, we’ll snuggle up for a cozy hangout. Every visit is shaped around what makes your pet happiest.

Hi there! I’m Shannon, a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities (plus plenty of cats, rabbits, chickens, turtles, fish, and even hedgehogs along the way). I started pet sitting casually as a teenager and officially joined Rover in 2022. I did pet care part time while also working as a server and applying for Masters programs. I graduated this past summer from URI’s Masters of Environmental Science & Management program and have since transitioned into pet care full time and I couldn’t be happier. Spending my days walking, playing, and snuggling with animals feels like the most rewarding work in the world.

Shannon is absolutely the best! The way she stays in contact and obviously loves our pup, we will never go with anyone else. 💗
The first meeting with Shannon went very well. I was so glad when both boys went to her, unsolicited. Taking Bo for his first walk as part of this introductory meeting felt comfortable.
As usual visits with our cat went well and as planned. Great to have Shannon.
