I have a keen sense with dogs and how the small mannerisms and behaviors they exhibit show whether they’re comfortable with me or tentative. I respect the ways in which you may have trained your dog, feel it’s important to maintain consistency and would do so while walking and caring for all dogs. I’m respectful of my clients’ space each and every visit.

Please share any behaviors I should know about your pup, training level and specific commands, silly quirks etc. If your dog has a special walking route, receives certain treats, is crated/contained to a certain space in your house that’s also great to know.

I’m there to cater to my clients’ dogs therefore, I’ll participate in whatever activities the pups prefer. If it’s a 30 min walk, I’ll set a timer and ensure your dog receives their full half hour. If your pup enjoys playtime and it’s a drop in, I’ll play tug, toss a ball etc.

For over 20 years, I’ve had the joy of caring for numerous furry companions, including my 9 year old rescue, Seven. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and the happiness they bring me is unmatched. From caring for senior dogs to working with puppies, my experience in canine caregiving runs deep. Beyond my own home, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with some great members of the community, providing dog walking and sitting services that ensure their pups receive the same level of care and attention as my own. My full time job allows a flexible schedule and I understand how unpredictable life can be, especially during the busy summer months when plans change and last minute needs arise. Whether it’s a same day request or a planned booking, I’m here to help when I can. I’m a permanent South Kingstown resident, so you can count on me to be a reliable and dedicated partner in caring for your precious pups!

Erica is a super sitter. She did everything while I was away all day, so I could be worry free. She communicated with me, took pics, fed the dog, exercised her and cuddled and played with her.
