About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! About: I've taken care of my neighbors cats and dogs since I was 13 years old. I have taken care of pups and seniors dogs/cats! They rely on me to walk, feed and entertain them. I am very flexible with scheduling. Im available weekdays and weekends at any time and place. Let me know what works for you and we can figure something out! I have 3 dogs (2 young labradoodles and a senior shitzu). I feed them and take them for walks daily. My senior dog needs extra care such as diaper changing and making soft food for him. I can feed, walk, entertain and bathe your pet.
About: Hi, I'm a Wildlife Conservation, Animal Behavior and Biology undergrad that LOVES being outside! I have grown up alongside animals my entire life, and I know how to recognize behavioral signs before the reactions occur. I have experience with all ages and breeds of dogs, cats, barnyard friends, and exotic reptiles/birds/mammals etc... I am very seasoned in the patience department, and I love making fun puzzles with treats or toys. I frequently go on long walks/runs with energetic animals, and I've got a mean overhand throw that is guaranteed to tire them out! With senior animals, I like to read out loud to them and sunbathe out in the yard (if they are outdoor pets). I am also able to take pups out on field trips to the beach and hikes :) I live by the fact that all animals deserve the upmost respect, love, and support. I have dedicated my life to conserve the animals that populate the Earth and the habitat they depend on. I look forward to the next adventure with you and your pet! I am incredibly flexible with my travel radius and scheduling, reach out with any questions! I am a full-time student at URI and have senior-intensive classes during the week. My schedule is pretty flexible, please don't hesitate to reach out! I simply ask for open communication and kindness when scheduling/canceling. I am only in RI when school is in session. About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of all different breads and sizes. I can handle large/strong dogs as well as puppies that need extra attention. We have kids and our own dog (Beira, the Scottish Terrier) so I know how important good, easy care is. As well as patience and attention. I am available during most days for quick care and walks built around school and kid activities. I have my own car and can make the trips or even transport if needed. Overnight care can be discussed as I'm open to it under a week long. I am flexible enough to meet your pet care needs. Basic walks and play, feeding, medicine distribution, and anything else you need. I myself am active so playing isn't an issue or even giving baths.

“David was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns even before I dropped off Bean. She is a lovebug but can be nervous. I was a little bit worried about dropping her off with someone she didn’t know for an overnight but David sent me a video of their walk soon after I left and she was very happy. I got more pictures of her smuggling on the couch and knew the only problem would be making her leave to come home with me. I’m happy to have found David and it’s worth the 25 minute drive from Providence. He has a big fenced yard and beautiful neighborhood.”
