“Sharon is fantastic!! My dog is 15 1/2 and very particular with people. She showed so much patience, kindness and sent me lots of updates. Highly recommend!”

“Dana was great! We just picked up our two dogs after a long weekend away… they were well taken care of and spent their days playing with Dana’s other dogs. They had a blast! Dana updated us with pictures and texts throughout their stay and kept us informed.”

“Karen, Chris, and their family were truly the best of the best when it came to caring for our Sunny while we were away on vacation for a week. It was clear from the start how much love and attention they gave him—he absolutely adored them and their dog! He even whined on the car ride home because he didn’t want to leave, which says everything. Karen provided multiple daily updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was wonderful to see how comfortable, happy, and well cared for Sunny was throughout the week. We truly can’t recommend them enough and feel so lucky to have found such incredible sitters. Thank you again, Karen, Chris, Abby, Joe, and Charm —Sunny already misses you all so much!”

“I was super nervous to leave Remy with a stranger for the 1st time, but as soon as I met Christina, I knew she was in good hands. Christina sent me so many pictures and updates of Remy having the best time playing in their amazing back yard, going on multiple (!!!) hikes, and snuggling with their sweet boy Frankie. If you have a dog with a lot of energy - look no further for the ultimate pet sitter! Christina, her husband, and their dog Frankie truly treated Remy like part of their family for the weekend, and I couldn’t be more thankful for finding them on Rover. If I could give Christina 100 stars, I would! Remy and I are both looking forward to her next stay at their home!”

“Our dog, Noddle, is a cherished member of our family; Patricia treated him the same way. From the initial meeting, Patricia's genuine love of and experience with a variety of animals was obvious. Noodle took to her right away. From the photos including walks on the beach and playtime in addition to the messages she regularly sent us, we could tell that he was happy and pampered. We feel completely comfortable and enthusiastic recommending Patricia and will engage her again. She is great. Lucky Noodle. Lucky us.”

“Karissa is very caring and will love your dogs like her own for the time she has them. She sends pictures at least once a day so you know they’re doing well. My dog had a great weekend while I was away. Would book again if I need it! Thank you so much!”
“Yunshu took great care of our pup and would 100% recommend. She sent lots of picture and video updates ensuring us that Butter was settled and being loved on. Intend to rebook at the next opportunity.”

“Erica was a godsend. We took in a foster in Feb and ended up adopting her. Unlike my other two dogs, the new pup hates being crated and has separation anxiety. We had a prescheduled trip planned for April and the new pup was too much for our house sitter to handle since he’d be coming and going. We were able to do a meet and greet with Erica where she assured me she’d have no problem watching the pup. Things worked out well and she will be my go to the next time we get away.”

“Kelly was very responsive and accommodating to us when we needed to book a last minute stay for our pup Holly! Holly was taken care of very well and had a great time! We will definitely use again in the future!”

“Kim is very caring and her property was wonderful for my two energetic labs to run around and explore. I appreciated her ability to safely introduce my dogs to other dogs staying with her which allowed even more positive interaction and stimulation for them”

“So thankful for Ashley and John!! They took amazing care of our puppy while away and we’re so flexible when our flights were cancelled and we had to add extra time. Thank you!!!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Armitage. They take such amazing care of Kharma every single time. Even when Kharma had to stay really late, they were incredibly accommodating and made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. It truly gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. At this point, Armitage is the first sitter I call every time without hesitation. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with Kharma. The level of care, consistency, and genuine love they show means everything to me.”

“Natalia gave great care to our dog for the long stay he had with her and their lovely Corgie Archie at their home. We got pictures nearly every day and she was responsive as needed. If you are looking to have your dog have good companionship they are a good choice.”

“Kimberly took great care of our labradoodle Maggie! She sent regular updates and photos and made sure Maggie was comfortable and happy. Definitely recommend and would use again!”

“David was absolutely wonderful with Merci and Dolce. I really appreciated the videos and updates he sent—it made being away so much easier and gave me total peace of mind. It was clear they were having an amazing time, and honestly, I think they may have enjoyed being at his house even more than mine! He was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and genuinely caring. “Julia is an excellent pet sitter--responsible, communicative, flexible, and caring. I have a cat, so it's important that pet sitters understand cats. Julia shines in this regard, and demonstrated through her words and actions that she is expert in the ways of felines. My cat can be picky about strangers but took to Julia immediately. They had a great time while I was away! I would hire Julia again in a heartbeat.”

About: I am very sensitive about dogs feeling and mood. And I have many experiences that they can read my thoughts. So always try to do my best to treat them sincerely. I am stay at home mom and have a dog called Rhody. The most important thing for me when it comes to caring for a dog is to be trusted by the dog, and to make it feel secure where it stays. I always try to communicate through the eye contact with them or their gestures. And I make a schedule so that I can take a walk in the sun for about an hour a day in addition to their bathroom time. Because regular exercise and sunbathing help dogs feel bright and their mind and body function smoothly. Clients can customize schedules for their dogs to me, and I won't deviate from his routine as much as possible. I always fill your dog with leashes and go for a walk, but if they meet me several times and have a solid relationship, I also take them to the dog park. If they need to release their energy. A scaredy or old dog can make my family have a blast at home.
About: I am an animal lover. I have watched other’s pets for long and short periods of time (6 months). From puppy to elder dog. To healthy to needing medications. Your dog, when with me, is the most important person in the world to me. I don’t text or talk on the phone when with your pet. All my attention is focused on your loved ones safety I work part time from home. Very flexible hours You name the time of day or night and I can be there. I am looking for 3-4 regular clients. I cannot have a pet overnight. It’s not allowed where I live. I can watch your pet at your pets home, which I think makes them feel more comfortable. I normally just sleep on the couch with the dogs. When they are with me, they are as loved as they are my own. It’s very hard for me to say goodbye so it’s often when I am with a doggy for 45 min and I am only booked for 30 min. I am just switching to Rover from Wag I had over 300 dogs and 50 preferred clients. If you were to go to their site, you will see, I am by the numbers, their highest rated walker. I am switching to River because I feel Rover provides more support for the walker and the pet owner

“Bailey and her husband James took great care of our high energy aussie. He played with their dog Dax and came home nice and tired out. They also have a nice fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run around. Seamus did not want to leave.”

“Margo watched Finn during the day when I had to go back to work. She had no problem accepting the challenge of caring for a young puppy and has many years of experience raising dogs of her own. Finn got along really well with her two dogs and was always excited to go to Margo's house when I dropped him off in the morning. My mind was at ease during the work day knowing that he was in excellent care. She sent pictures and updates of them going on walks together, playing in the yard with her dogs, and working on some of his training. If we ever go away on a trip, I will definitely use Margo to care for Finn again! She truly loves what she does and cares deeply for all her clients' pups.”

“Erica has taken care of feeding, walking and playing with Kona (a 150 lb drooling Newfie) twice. She is outstanding. Professional, clearly knows dogs, trustworthy and an overall rockstar!”

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! I promise to take the best care of your pet and give them all the love they need when you can’t be home. I am very dependable, patient and trustworthy. I was a preschool special education teacher in Providence for 16 years before I became a stay at home mom. My kids are teens now, so have some time to devote to pet care. I'm currently a stay at home mom and I help my parents out as well. I have plenty of time to pop in for walks, bathroom breaks, feeding, playing and giving lots of LOVE to your pet! I will follow your directions "down to a T." I will give your pets lots of love and keep them safe while you are away! I am super trustworthy, dependable, kind and patient.
“Shannon has been walking our German Shepard for a few years and is so responsive, flexible, and knowledgeable, especially with our alarm system and use of prong collar for walking. She always gives great updates, and our dog loves her so much! Highly recommend Shannon!”

I currently share my home with three sweet cats, and I totally understand how important it is to find someone you trust. “I couldn't be happier with Heather taking care of my energetic Jack Russell Phineas yesterday. She was kind to listen to and quell my nervous dog mom concerns and communicated with me promptly every time. She took him for an extended walk/run which he clearly loved and did great. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking her again!”
About: I'm pretty new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with dogs, cats, hedgehogs, fish, and other small pets. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including seniors, and have experience administering oral medications, handling emergencies, and providing daily exercise and enrichment. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before services to learn your pet’s routine and ensure they feel comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, my goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority, and I treat every home with respect—often leaving it a little cleaner than I found it. I am working a part time job during the weekdays, usually the shifts are 11am-4 or 5pm, and on the weekends I work longer shifts which vary in time. However... I have many weeks off here and there so I am free a lot of the time. My job is pretty flexible most of the time so I can leave work to walk your pups and make sure they are okay and then go back to work. My yard has an Invisible Fence for my dogs which works out quite nicely and whenever I have other people's dogs over I make sure to keep them on a leash so no accidents happen. That being said, I live with my parents so I would be more geared towards servicing in home visits and stays with your pets at your home.

About: Hi! I’m a responsible, caring, and dependable dog lover with over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. While living with my parents, I helped care for our three family dogs—a Golden Retriever mix, a Husky mix, and a Labrador mix. I currently have a friendly 9-month-old Goldendoodle mix who lives with me. My home has a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, exercise, and relax. I only host one guest dog at a time so I can provide personalized care and attention. I treat every dog like family and provide plenty of playtime, potty breaks, exercise, love, and regular photo updates so owners always know how their pet is doing. My goal is to provide a safe, clean, loving, and stress-free environment where every dog feels comfortable, happy, and at home. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I have a flexible schedule and make time every day to provide loving and attentive care. I can provide regular potty breaks, playtime, exercise, feeding, and plenty of attention. I keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they always know how their dog is doing. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. It’s such a relief to find someone you can fully trust with your pets, and I truly can’t say enough good things about him. I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter.”

“Thomas was wonderful with our senior dog, Nikko! They went on lots of walks and adventures in the woods and to the beach! He sent us lots of pictures while we were away and we’ll definitely be using him in the future!”
