I grew up with dogs and a cat, and as an adult I have been blessed with birds, cats, dogs, rabbits and hermit crabs! My dear dog passed away after 13 years and while I am not yet ready for a new full-time roommate, I would love to give my love and attention to your pets. As a long-time pet owner, I am adept at walks, administering medication, pet routines and some grooming, as well as plenty of attention and affection. I enjoy exercising your pet or if the animal is more sedentary, singing or reading to them. You will have nothing to worry about while you are away.

At this time, I do not offer care in my home. However, I am happy to stay at your home, which I've found is a happier situation for your pet.

Heather hung out with our dog for a few hours while we went to a wedding. He loved her right away and she sent great updates.
Heather is so amazing with our boy. She played ball and gave him lots of belly rubs. He's quite the licker but she didn't mind that at all! Heather communicates all the details of her visit and provides the cutest pictures. We will definitely be requesting time with her again. Thank you Heather!
Heather took great care of Winnie for a few days when we had to travel. She took her on walks each day, paying attention to whether Winnie was up for along walk in the woods or a short walk around the neighborhood. We appreciate her care and we would welcome her back.
I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Heather stayed at my home and took wonderful care of my dog while I was away. She kept me updated with photos and messages, and made sure my pup felt loved and comfortable. It gave me such peace of mind knowing both my dog and my house were in great hands. Heather is an incredibly kind, exceptional dog caretaker. We hired her to attend our wedding and watch our pup during the big day. She was so accommodating and lovely. She made sure he had lots of treats and drinks. Even though our pup can be quite a challenging energy ball, she was calm, up for the task, and never acted burdened by him. When she took him back to our air b n b, I felt completely at ease. I was confident she got him home ok and fed him. She helped make our day special. I will forever be grateful to her!

Schedule
I am self employed and work virtually, so I will be available to your pets throughout the day and night. At most, I would be away four hours at a time.
