About: While I am new to Rover, I am certainly not new to animal care! Since I was born, I have always had cats or dogs in my home, including now, with two cats in tow. I have an academic and professional background in wildlife biology, so taking care of both domestic and wild animals has been my whole life. I have been caring for cats since I was a kid, and have been routinely pet-sitting for my friends and family for over ten years. I have experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and rodents of all ages, sizes, and of various health concerns. Looking after animals is my greatest source of fulfillment and I hope I get to take care of yours too! I am off for the summer, so I am available at all times on all days of the week and will have plenty of time to look after your babies! When working, I offer drop in visits in the morning and evening on weekdays and anytime on weekends in addition to overnight stays on any day of the week. I offer drop in visits and overnight stays. I have experience administering medicine and special diets, walking and crating dogs, and playing and offering enrichment for pets of all species. I totally understand that your pet might be anxious while you are away, so my top priority is making sure they feel calm and cared for until you come home!

Always appreciate Maya’s ability to provide last minute cat sitting. I’ve had full trust in them in being able to care for both of my cats. One of them is diabetic and they are great at administering insulin, checking her bgl reading, etc. Definitely my go to person for cat care. :)
Courtney was amazing! She left detailed notes each visit and stayed extra time to ensure our elderly cat ate all of her food. She went above and beyond cleaning up our cats throw up multiple times and we are so appreciative! The photos she left were so sweet and made us feel like we were there with our babies! August was fantastic with our older cat and they went above and beyond to make sure she was well taken care of. August was able to get her to take her pills each day (which can sometimes be tricky). They were patient, caring, and gave us lots of info at each check in about how she was doing. I never had to worry with August taking care of our cat and we would have them back as our pet sitter any time. Highly recommended!!
