“She did an amazing job! My pup was so happy and loved spending time with her. She brought him to the park and also gave him a oatmeal bath! One of the best sitters we have ever had! Your buddy will be in good hands! She also sent us updates and pictures! We will definitely be back soon!”

“Angie was truly wonderful! She kept me up to date with so many pictures, I never had to ask, she was on top of it! She took such good care of our fur baby and we felt like we were in good hands! You won’t regret choosing Angie to care and love your fur baby as her own! Thank you Angie!”

“2nd time using Elizabeth and I can stop saying how lovely of a person she is. My partner and I were out of state for the weekend and we were not getting back until later than expected. Elizabeth understood and was able to take Ginny over night again and allowed us to pick her up the next morning before work. It was such a blessing and ease for our travels to not rush home late at night with and added stressor. We love Elizabeth and Ginny loves her too. Elizabeth is kind to sent updates as well to put you at ease. 💕🫶🏼💕”

“Dianne took great care of our pup! Drop off and pick up we’re easily scheduled and our pup came home happy and well cared for! Dianne sent pictures and was easy to communicate with!”

“Sarah was great at watching our two dogs over Christmas, even our large one with anxiety. She also didn't have a problem keeping them on such short notice. Definitely recommend.”

About: Pets (and working animals) have always been in my life. Currently I do have dogs of my own and always have. Moved to the city and sure do miss my goats, chickens and most of all my potbellies that couldn't come 😭 My father was an animal scientist and I've been around animals of all sorts since the day I was born. I'm a stay at home mom with my youngest at 11 years old. My entire day is free! If I'm not caring or playing with a four legged friend or two webbed feet I'm not having fun! Safety for your pet is most important. Playtime would be wherever you request whether it be your own backyard, walked on a leash, dog park or inside playtime. Your pet will be treated with the utmost care with lots of fun with the safety of him/her always in mind.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy caring for them. I’ve helped foster animals and have experience caring for pets of friends, family, and neighbors. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic routines, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. You can count on me to communicate regularly, follow your instructions carefully, and care for your pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in dependable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My dog, Benji, keeps me active with daily walks, playtime, and outdoor activities. I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide reliable care, regular potty breaks, exercise, feeding, and plenty of attention to every pet I care for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Benji and I enjoy daily walks and visits to dog parks, and we have the luxury of a large, fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I’ll follow your routines, respect your instructions, provide lots of love and attention, and send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From growing up with cats and dogs to spending the last four years working with an animal rescue, caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s what drives me. I’ve helped care for rescue animals and pets of all personalities and needs. My goal is always the same: to make every animal feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owner is away. I'm currently working part time. I can be available in the mornings before 8am and most afternoons after 4pm. My working days change, but I am happy to fit what is needed in my schedule. I have a fenced in yard. I do have two friendly dogs whome are kenneled off and on, and 2 cats. I also foster and help care of others animals in their homes and sometimes in mine for periods of time.

“My Laila was very happy and clean. This was my 1st experience and I was terrified. I felt very comfortable and at ease when I met her and my Laila did not bark and act up like she does with others. I received pictures and a video of my Laila and it made it feel so comfortable. I will always use her if she is available.”

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love and lifelong experience with animals. I’ve also sheltered and cared for pets until they were ready to find their forever homes, giving me experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and needs. I currently work part-time so I have a lot of time and space for pet sitting! I’m available throughout the week & weekends as well. I provide a clean, safe, and cozy home where my pets can feel comfortable and cared for. “Tiana was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my dog and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She sent frequent updates, along with plenty of photos and videos, so I always knew how he was doing. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about him and treated him like one of her own. I could tell he was happy, comfortable, and well loved throughout his stay. I would absolutely book with Tiana again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
