“Sierra and Andrew were wonderful!! Sierra took such good care of our girls, and sent us many daily photos and updates. Our pups had such a blast playing in their yard, and they didn't want to leave when we picked them up! Highly recommend booking with Sierra - they are amazing dog sitters :)”
“I was a bit anxious at first leaving Bubba with a complete stranger, but Scott was great during our meet and greet with him and I knew they would get along fine and Scott would take good care of him. Scott was conscientious about taking notes on how much to feed and when, potty habits, quirks I thought he needed to know. He provided me pictures everyday and I was pleased to see that Bubba got plenty of exercise while I was gone. I definitely plan to use Scott again. Thanks for a great experience.”

“Sarah was great at watching our two dogs over Christmas, even our large one with anxiety. She also didn't have a problem keeping them on such short notice. Definitely recommend.”

About: I’m a dog mom to three pups of my own, so caring for dogs is already a huge part of my everyday life! I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention and cuddles. I’ll treat your pets with the same patience, care, and love that I give my own. Pet care already fits naturally into my daily routine since I have three dogs of my own! I’m used to planning my day around feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and making sure everyone gets plenty of attention. I work from home, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets and keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities! I have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, as well as three dogs of my own, so my home is very pet-friendly. I make introductions carefully and will always consider each dog’s personality and comfort level. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal feeding, potty, sleeping, and medication routines, and dogs can be separated or crated when needed. I’ll also send plenty of pictures and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and having a great time!
“Jecinda was great to work with! So glad Ruger was able to stay with her while we were away for three nights. She was very responsive and sent messages and photos everyday. We will book with her again next time!”

About: My partner and I started our dog sitting and boarding journey out of a deep, lifelong love for animals. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me — I’ve been around and caring for animals of all kinds since I was a child. We’re not just pet sitters; we truly treat every animal like family. When your pet is with us, they’re not just safe — they’re loved, spoiled, and given the kind of attention and care we’d want for our own. You can feel confident knowing your furry friend is in kind, experienced, and devoted hands. My partner and I currently work part time, we have plenty of time for potty breaks, walks, and play time. We are home every weekend and home early afternoons. We’re proud to offer a spacious, secure, and visually enriching environment for your pets to enjoy. Our home sits on 10 acres of cleared land, giving plenty of room for safe exploration, fresh air, and playtime. We do require all pets to be flea-medicated and up to date on vaccines for everyone’s comfort and safety. We share our home with two friendly dogs and two cats, so all visiting pets must be well-socialized and dog/cat friendly. Your pet will be treated like family here, with lots of love, attention, and space to thrive. We’re also happy to provide add-on services like light grooming, cleaning, and nail trimming upon request — just let us know what your pet needs!
“Ladona took great care of Rocky! He was happy and cozy while I was out of town. Her communication was excellent, and she provided lots of updates and pictures. Would absolutely book again!”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From growing up with cats and dogs to spending the last four years working with an animal rescue, caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s what drives me. I’ve helped care for rescue animals and pets of all personalities and needs. My goal is always the same: to make every animal feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owner is away. I'm currently working part time. I can be available in the mornings before 8am and most afternoons after 4pm. My working days change, but I am happy to fit what is needed in my schedule. I have a fenced in yard. I do have two friendly dogs whome are kenneled off and on, and 2 cats. I also foster and help care of others animals in their homes and sometimes in mine for periods of time.
About: Hi, my name is Elle and I moved here to Biloxi last May. I have one dog named Jasper. He may have a little underbite that looks threatening, but don’t be fooled, he is the sweetest little cuddle bug around. I love doing outdoor activities. I take Jasper hiking, alongside me on bike rides, runs, beaches, and walks. We haven’t braved the kayak or paddle board yet but once he’s more comfy in the water—it’s game on. Although I do enjoy a lot of outdoor activities, I also like to have a good book and curl up with Jasper on my couch to get some relaxation in. If there’s anything else you would like to know, feel free to message me and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible! I work 8-4 during the week, but am home throughout the evenings and mostly all day during the weekend. I walk Jasper each morning and can easily add another doggo or two to get in some exercise before the day starts. We play fetch in the afternoon for a short while—the heat index is killer, so we only do it a small amount of time. Caring for a pet(s) is engrained in my everyday routine. I don’t plan anything without a thought of how to take care of Jasper and any other babies I might have at the time. Jasper is my first baby, yours will be no different. They are allowed on the furniture and beds. They can free roam (as long as that’s their usual routine and they aren’t destructive).

About: I've always loved animals. Went many years without a dog but took I a 8 year old dog last year who was being gotten rid of and my world changed. I love him with all my might. I would love to spend time with other animals as well. I want to focus on weekend boarding. Very home bodied so your pet will be with me 90 percent of the time and have little time alone. Want to give them a good experience while you are away. I do not have a yard but we take frequent trips outside and to the dog park where I live at through out the day. We spend most of our free time on the couch cuddling!
“Asheia had 5 dogs to handle and care for during our 1st five day experience of caring for our very pampered pooch (She said she could tell she was spoiled, haha! True!) and appeared very alert and aware of all the different personalities of those in her care, keeping an eye on which ones get along and acting accordingly keeping them all safe. Safe is the key word here...we all want to enjoy our getaway knowing our pets are in a safe place, and that it was. I would give a 5 star rating except her phone was acting up not allowing for but only one photo in 5 days, yet she tried! But it made me a nervous wreck being 10 hours away. I was only hesitant at first realizing Chloe wasn't going to have a yard to run about, which she's used to, but now I'm preferring the tight quarters knowing the dogs are watched from all angles, again being kept safe! I would love for Asheia to watch our girl again. Thanks Asheia!”

“I was in town and was so glad Hayley was available to watch my two boys. She sends a ton of pictures and updates which gives me peace of mind to know they are being well taken care of. My dogs really enjoy their time with Hayley and love to run around and play in her huge yard. She even baked them dog treat which they love!! My pups are in great hands every time they stay with Hayley.”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy caring for them. I’ve helped foster animals and have experience caring for pets of friends, family, and neighbors. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic routines, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. You can count on me to communicate regularly, follow your instructions carefully, and care for your pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in dependable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My dog, Benji, keeps me active with daily walks, playtime, and outdoor activities. I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide reliable care, regular potty breaks, exercise, feeding, and plenty of attention to every pet I care for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Benji and I enjoy daily walks and visits to dog parks, and we have the luxury of a large, fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I’ll follow your routines, respect your instructions, provide lots of love and attention, and send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Brittany was amazing! Very easy to work with and even went above and beyond by accepting an earlier drop off time at the last minute. She sent pics daily and made sure my pup felt loved. Highly recommend!”
“Denise is the best! We had never left our fur baby prior to vacationing out of the country. Denise sent us daily updates along with photos. Our little guy had such a great time with her fur babies. I will be definitely booking her for play dates as he is an only pup in our house.”

“Erin was great, from picking my baby girl up, dropping her off, even clipping her nails! She was everything my baby girl needed to feel comfortable away from her family for the weekend. Will 100% rebook with Erin as long as she's available.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ocean Springs
Brooke took care of my lab mix 3 weeks ago. Sophie (my lab) got along so well with Brooke's doodle. Brooke has a large backyard allowing dogs in her care to run and play. Brooke had no complaints of Sophie while I was out of town. I recommend Brooke if you are looking for a trustworthy and caring dogsitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
