“I have three wonderful rescue dogs one is just a little higher maintenance. He’s the pit mix and Marci was “ the pit whisperer”. She was so good with Riggs that he wanted to follow her home. I had no worries I knew that everything was well taken care of it was clean when I came home Just as I left it. She’s good with my dogs, allowing them to warm up naturally. I would give her 10 stars. If five was limit she was above and beyond and just wonderful. She worked with our picky eater and made sure she ate something everyday. She even hand fed her on the last couple days when she really wouldn't eat! She spoke with me daily through texts and upfated me with pictures. It was what I needed to feel ok about not being there myself. She left our house clean with no dishes, trash taken out (and took it up on trash day), and washed the bed she stayed in so my sheets would be clean when I came home late. About: I have been taking care of family members' dogs regularly for years, including senior dogs with special needs and puppies with no training. Over the years I have gained a working knowledge of caring for dogs with dietary restrictions and mobility issues. I have also had experience teaching two puppies potty training and leash training. Any size dog is welcome, for I have taken care of dogs ranging from six to ninety pounds. I can work around the pet's needs if given a few days to iron out personal schedules. I am in college, so if I spend the night pet sitting, I will have to allocate a certain amount of time for my classes. When in a client's home I like to have a detailed list of instructions regarding the locations of a pet's food, toys, and personal belongings. I will always strive to keep a pet's usual schedule when inside their home and leave time for them to become comfortable with me. I am not afraid of reactive dogs, I can handle ones that bark and bite easily. As the night progresses I will make sure that the home is secure, clean, and happy for the dog I am watching. I am perfectly happy to sleep with the dog on a couch or on the floor if the need arises. Special dietary needs are always important to me, so medications and food will be given correctly at the allocated times.
