We were away for almost a week and Cheryl took excellent care of our dog, sent us pictures and updates, and was a joy to be in touch with and have in our home. About: I was raised on a small farm, where caring for animals was part of daily life. Horses, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, reptiles, even the occasional rescue raccoon. That foundation grew into a passion, and eventually, a career. I’m currently dedicating the next few months to growing my business on Rover while working from home and planning the next chapter of my career in animal care. This means I have the flexibility and availability to be fully present for your pets—providing attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate care throughout the day. For those special needs and senior pets, I can give oral meds, subcutaneous fluids, IV and IM injections, apply topical treatments, and be extra mindful on monitoring their health. During each boarding request/house sit/day care I can provide: • bathing • nail trims • grooming • several walks • and give endless affection! About: I’ve cared for friends’ cats and dogs since I graduated high school, but I started gathering more clients in college and during my masters in order to earn supplemental income I’m available every afternoon after 330pm, and possibly sooner with early notice. On weekends I am available all day, and can travel anywhere in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens I don’t have either of my cats with my here in New York. Back at my home in New Orleans, I have an entirely fenced backyard so I can let my cats play as long as they want every day. Sometimes up to 3 hours a day. They are harness trained as well, so we go on walks 3-4 times a week. I enjoy taking both cats and dogs on walks

About: My family got our first dog when I was 9 years old. Since then, I don't think I've ever not had pets in my life. I've had dogs, cats, and bearded dragons. I come from a long line of animal lovers, and I consider my pets to be part of the family - so they live good and happy lives. I've also had family and friends rely on me many times to take care of their pets while they were out of town. I'm a teacher, so come the summer (when everyone goes on vacation), my days are wide open! During the school year, weekends are the best bet for house-sitting, but I've got more flexibility for dog walking etc. First step is building trust. I want your pet(s) to feel comfortable around me, and part of that is gauging how they behave around me. If they want love and attention, I'm more than happy to give it! If they need more time and distance, that's okay too. I'm someone who wants to make sure that you AND your pet are happy, so whatever you need me to do is what I'll do. Lots of play? Can do! Frequent walks or bathroom breaks? Not a problem! Just hang out so they're not alone? Absolutely. And I want you to feel confident that your pets are in good hands, so I'm always happy to send check-in pictures if desired.

About: My whole heart and purpose in life has revolved around caring for little ones..animals and the elderly. God has graced with the patience and heart to care for those who are in need of outside help..for those who don't have a voice in this world. the vulnerable. Looking out for those who can't look out for themselves is what I waa meant to do. Im in the next season of my life where my kids are moving on to bigger and better things..and my parents don't need me anymore..but I know there is plenty of loving dogs out there that could use my love and affection when they are all alone. They need someone young at heart to play with them...run with them...chase squirrels with them...Im that Lassie they have been awaiting .their whole pup life. About: I’ve grown up with whole life with dogs, so I know the importance of taking care of your 4-legged family member(s) that are important in your life. I want to provide my services so that your fur baby is safe and comfortable in their own home, while you are alway from home. I’ve had small dogs such as jack Russell’s and as big as pit bulls in my family. No fur baby is too big or too small to love and care for. I am currently not working since I am finishing my degree in Nursing. The only work I have been doing is part-time babysitting and dog sitting on the side & weekends. I am mostly available weekdays from 8am-8pm. Weekends can be tricky for me due to other side jobs such as babysitting, so it just depends. Just ask if you have questions about any specific weekend. I currently have a recused pitbull-husky mix living in my home with me, that loves to play all day. She is currently going through heart worm treatment, so unfortunately she is not able to play or visit any dog friends until her vet clears her. Due to her circumstances, I have been able to learn more about pets medication and aiding in helping her through this process. Unfortunately, I can not have any pets in my home until she is heart worm free. However, I am available to help with other pets medications and care for your fur pup in your home.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember from the farm to our house pets, in 2018 I was part of the rover family and have boarded and house sat a multitude of animals from st Bernards to Yorkies. Our pets are our family isn't just a phrase its a fact and restassured if you entrust you fur family with me they will be treated as my own, im pretty familiar with older pets and administering some medications pill form and liquid, no experience with shots. Im usually available 6 days a week for walks and 7 days if boarding or house sitting i have a fluctuating schedule but I will always be there throughout the day to adhere to their needs I live in an apartment complex so they would be staying inside with frequent walks as for the clients home as long as there is a list and schedule i can meet the needs of the client and their pet

About: After caring for human babies, I also started taking care of fur babies. Your pets are your family, and they deserve to be safe and healthy so you don't have to worry while you're gone. I'm currently not working a regularly scheduled job. I'm an actor looking to keep my schedule flexible. I have no set obligations currently other than a concert or two. I am living in my parents home which probably isn't suitable for any more pets. We do have a fenced in yard. My cat is not allowed outdoors.
