About: I used to have a dog who lived to be 15, been watching dogs and cats since I was 13, and even helped administer medicine to a few animals that have been in my care both orally and by shot. I’ve also brought pets to their appointments. Baths are no problem! I currently do not work. I am a full time college student, meaning besides 3-4 hours of class some days I am free for your convenience! I like to talk to the owners to see what the rules are on the pet, to know if they have have things like medicine need, have to be watched when eating, if their not good with other animals, etc.

“Rachel cared very well for my Border Collie and Labrador. She is patient with the dogs and understands their needs well with good communication. She gave them good exercise and I could tell by the way they reacted they enjoyed their time with her! Especially because one of my dogs is a bit shy, I was surprised how much they were relaxed around her. Would love it if she could watch them again when needed!”

Another time, she was super observant and sensitive my cat’s nervous and scared energy when first arriving at her place for cat sitting. After my cat finally emerged from his hiding place, my cat was throughly entertained for hours on end by geekos, birds, and random nature happenings outside her windows. About: I have 6 years experience! I grew up in my dad’s veterinary clinic and that’s really what started my love for animals. I have lots of experience around dogs and cats. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and feel comfortable around all of them. I have regularly walked a couple of dogs for some families and I have 2 kitties of my own so I am familiar with the care they require. My dad has taught me how to orally administer medication and I have done so with both dogs and cats. I have a very open schedule at the moment! I usually have a couple things in my weekday afternoons, but I can schedule around them pretty easily so just reach out. I am looking to stay in the clients home or do drop-ins as needed. Making sure your pets are happy and comfortable is the most important part of the job to me! I want to make sure that they are well taken care of and you know they are safe.

About: I've help taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. I grew up with a dachshund, german shepherd and shiba inu. All have completely different personalities and sizes. I frequently walked, bathed, played with them and given them lots of cuddles! I recently spent 6 months taking care of my sisters two dogs and two cats in Alaska full time. She has a miniature dachshund and mixed German Shepard. I took care of all of their needs during the day. We went on early morning walks everyday, played in the snow, played with toys and had lots of cuddles! I currently work full time at a bank in town! I’m very excited but unfortunately, this will take up my daytime I’d usually spend with your pups. I work Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri & Sat, 8:15a-5p. Outside of work, I would spend all of my time playing and caring for your pup. So if your pet is used to a working schedule and spending some hours alone during the day, we’re the perfect match! I currently take care of my two family dogs, German Shepard and Shiba Inu, along with my parents and siblings. They are completely different from each other but get along very well. I do all of the important tasks that it takes to take care of them, they are my babies! I would be sure to do everything I can to satisfy you and your pup. About: I have cared for a variety of pets of all sizes and ages. Working for a pet sitting/walking business, The Pet Nanny, allowed me to become an expert pet sitter. I am currently working as a First Mate/ Marine Science Officer on a research vessel. My schedule is flexible, I’m available throughout the week and on weekends for pet sitting.
