“Just 4 days before this last stay with Joel, our dog had gotten severely attacked & bitten by another dog, at a local park. Bozzer (our puppy), was still in the early stages of healing. About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. Same goes for finicky or difficult medical application. I have no kids on property.

About: I grew up on a farm and have had dogs of every shape and size my entire life. I have experience with dogs with diabetes and am comfortable giving them their shots. I am willing to drive to any part of the island but I am located in Ewa Beach so please allow grace for traffic if you are townside. Size does not scare me as I was watching over 12 horses daily in Kapolei, my elderly dog requires 4 medications a day so medications are a breeze as I’ve had to learn every trick in the book. *I have an elderly dog and young cat in my home so all animals must pass a flea inspection and have recent vaccines.* I am currently unemployed due to medical conditions not letting me be able to be in large crowds. I can adapt my schedule to you and your animals needs because of this and can be available anytime outside of my appointments and treatment days. I have a larger fenced yard in Ewa Beach, I provide filtered water for all animals and treat any animal in my home as if it were my own. In my house animals are allowed on furniture and beds. I will always leave a space cleaner than found, if I am house sitting/pet sitting I will lightly clean the area. If your animal becomes muddy, or dirty under my care I will wash them. If you don’t want them on furniture I will make sure they do not go on any.
About: We have two very friendly dogs for your pets to play with here at our house! We have a fenced back yard and water available 24/7. I work a flexible shift Tuesday-Thursday and work close on base. I am able to be here for the pets most the time and also come home for lunch.
