She is extremely professional, very reliable and responsible - she took excellent care of our dog and our home while we were away. Our family highly recommends her and will certainly contact her again in the future.”

Kathleen sent updates, and was very easy to communicate with. We had a flight delay and I texted Kathleen to ask her if she could let my dogs out late in the evening as we would not be home until much later than planned, she responded with a very prompt and friendly “no problem” which made my situation a lot easier. Thank you again Kathleen! We will definitely be hiring you again!”

About: I am a responsible 63-year-old professional. I have decades of experience with my own pets and have provided pet care for my friends on numerous occasions. As a senior software architect I work from home full-time, so I have complete flexibility to follow *your* preferred schedule in caring for your pet(s). I have a fenced-in yard and spacious four bedroom home. No rooms are off-limits to your pet(s); they will have the run of the house and yard.

“Kira was very honest about her availability due to her regular job, and arrived promptly as promised in between work hours to watch my big baby. She followed my instructions and dog’s routine carefully, and went above and beyond with extra physical therapy exercises I had left, as well as taking excellent care of my house while she was sitting. She kept me well updated while I was gone, and even left detailed notes of how each day went for me to see when I returned. It was so comforting to know that my baby was in such good hands while I was gone, and I will definitely try to book her again in the future!”

“Sofiya took excellent care of our dog! She is very sweet with pets, took perfect care of our apartment, and even left us delicious snacks! She was also very informative with photos and we always felt that our dog was getting the best care. I highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter for your pet.”

About: I have owned and cared for 4 dogs (1 lab, 2 beagles, 1 mutt), and 5 cats (3 orange tabby cats, 1 longhair black cat, 1 calico) in my lifetime, and I always play with the pet at the party. My favorite dog is the beagle and my favorite cat is orange but I love them all. I am available nearly every day and most evenings. I know how to quickly win over a pet with genuine display of empathy and affection. Knowing the spot to scratch also helps. I have very long legs and walk miles daily, so I can outwalk most dogs and keep up with them as they chase birds and mongoose. If they are not yet tired from the walk, I love playing tug-of-war afterwards. My life goal is to own a large yard, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and I am working towards that goal every day. I am currently working part-time as a theatre teacher. My teaching hours are 9-3 on Tuesdays and 11-3 on Thursdays/Fridays. I do theatre and improv most weekends in the evenings. Otherwise I am very available! I only use leashes that are secure. I keep a tight grip on a leash and wrap it around my fist to be safe. I am good about checking and securing gates.

“Aris is probably one of the most detail-oriented and kindest sitters we’ve ever had! My partner and I felt so confident leaving her to house-sit, and she was super mindful of communication while we were away. Also, if you’re looking to get some of the cutest photos of your pet, she shares the best! (: when we came back, our place was almost as if we had just left and everything was so clean! Could not recommend her enough, 1000/100!! ?”

“Alyson was lovely!! She really took care of my baby with a bunch of walks and snuggles. She constantly sent photos and I felt like Lincoln (our pup) was in the best of hands!! Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats of my own since I was 10. My friends, family, and neighbors also look at me as someone that they can rely on to step in and trust that I can watch over their furry friends! I currently work in the evenings so I am available for daytime walks and check ins! I love nice long walks and I can definitely have your furry friend tag along! I am very active and have always loved taking my dogs on long walks growing up. I have two cats right now that are quite pampered and gives me the time to help others with their own furry friends! I can do long walks and check ins!

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, oftentimes having at least 2 in the house. I don’t currently own my own, but I frequently foster or “Couch Crash” dogs for the Hawaiian Humane society, focusing on pups who have been with the HHS for some time. I enjoy these dogs because it gives them a small break in shelter life, gives me a great friend for a few weeks, and helps me understand their personalities more to help lead to future adoption. Out of the three dogs I have fostered, all three have been either immediately adopted by families, or found their forever homes within 48 hours. Couch crashing can require patience, care, and special attention for dogs that this may be their first experience inside a home. It’s also fun to train dogs basic skills that maybe haven’t had the chance learn yet. Aside from HHS, I have also cared for a few different coworkers pets, both in their homes and my own. I have base access if required for any services for your dog! I work Monday thru Friday, core hours 9-2, but have the flexibility to adjust hours based on desired level of pet care, and what side of the island. When I fostered dogs for the HHS or dog sat for my coworkers, I always ensured a morning walk and a “right as I get home” walk. However, if your dog already has a schedule or routine they are used to, I can easily adjust mine as required. If your dog is staying with me, my house is very dog friendly. I have a yard, but it’s not fenced in so all outdoor activity will be on a leash. Located off a quiet residential road, I have quick and easy access to take them on a walk or a hiking trail right down the street. Senior pups, or dogs that struggle with stairs, may have hard time at my place, as there are ~20 stairs leading from the carport down to the house. But i am willing to carry up/down if that is something your dog is used to or comfortable with. The house being down off the road does adds an extra level of safety from vehicles, and provides a quiet environment without a lot of foot or car traffic past the house. If watching or picking up your dog from their place, I recognize that I am a guest, and it is their world. Any and all instructions will be followed precisely to ensure they remain comfortable in their own space.

About: I am a proud pug mom who has been an animal lover her whole life. From big and small dogs to cats and hermit crabs, I have always had pets. Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their fur babies for years, and there’s nothing I love more! Pet care fits seamlessly into my life because I work from home and for myself, which means my schedule is very flexible. I’m already used to planning my day around my own pup — from walks and mealtimes to cuddles and play breaks — and I’m happy to adjust my routine to meet your pet’s specific needs. Whether it’s a midday drop-in, an early morning walk, or overnight care, I’m able to be there when it counts. In my client’s home, I make it a priority to maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. That includes feeding schedules, walk times, medication, and any special instructions you provide. I also make sure your home stays clean and respected — and your pet gets all the attention, exercise, and comfort they need while you’re gone. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick visit or staying overnight, I want you to feel confident and at ease while your pet is in my care.

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve been blessed to be surrounded by animals and absolutely loved it! I actually loved it so much that I turned that into a career. I currently work as a veterinary technician at VCA providing general to emergency care to all of our patients. I am very familiar with performing medical treatments to dogs and cats, for example giving subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, giving fluids, and giving or applying oral/topical medications. I am also very familiar with performing grooming services like nail trims, baths, sanitary shaves, anal gland expressions and so on. In my personal and work life I am very familiar with taking care of both dogs and cats of every age. Personally I own an almost 3 year old Rottweiler/Boxer mix and a now 1 year old gray tabby that I adopted when she came into our clinic as a kitten looking for a foster:) My work week often looks like working 4 days a week at a veterinary hospital and the other 3 days of my week are usually open on my schedule to care for your animal(s) in whatever way necessary. I am fortunate to have breaks to check on your animals during my work day or if you desired I would be able to bring your fur baby to work with me if that made them happier! All of my time in your home would be dedicated to making your animals feel as happy and comftorable as possible. Sticking to their routines, feeding schedules and any play time that they feel up to! I am also more than happy to contribute to any house related needs during my stay.

“Kristi is the greatest dog sitter ever! She stayed at my home with my two dogs over the weekend and the dogs clearly had a wonderful time with plenty of walks and play time. She is an excellent communicator and sent me frequent pictures and videos which allowed me to relax and enjoy my time away with no worries about my pups. She took wonderful care of the house too! We will definitely ask Kristi to house sit again next time we are away and would highly recommend her to anyone.”

Dan C.
“Dan is absolutely wonderful with dogs. We had him walk our high energy two-year-old shepherd mix, and he did a great job finding fun places for her to explore and tiring her out (he sent us a couple photos of our very happy dog). He took the time to sit and play with her afterwards to make sure she was settled and cooled down before he left, and he was conscientious of our home. Would definitely recommend Dan as someone to care for your dogs. He has a lot of experience with high energy young dogs and persnickety old dogs - and seems to love them all equally.”
