About: I’ve had pets all my life and have worked as a nutritionist at a holistic pet store for close to 4 years. I love animals and I love interacting with them! I currently work a part time job that only gives me 20-25 hours a week. Other than that I am completely available, as long as it fits into my current schedule. I cannot take animals into my own apartment, but I am more than happy to care for animals in their own home. I am well experienced in keeping a close eye on animals and love communicating with owners about their pets wellbeing.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, having grown up with family dogs, having dogs of my own, and helping care for pets belonging to friends and neighbors. Over the years I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities, from small energetic pups to large, gentle giants and everything in between. At home, I have both a dog and cat, so my nights are usually spent being a pillow for a chubby cat or a pushy shiba (sometimes both at the same time), which means I’m never off schedule! I’m a college senior taking asynchronous classes and working part-time in security roles, which allows for a very open schedule. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, exploring the neighborhood, or simply curling on the couch for some company, I'm happy to tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. As mentioned above, pet care fits really well into my routine because I’m taking asynchronous classes and have a limited part time schedule! When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel secure while you’re gone. I’ll follow any instructions you provide on feeding, walks, medications, house rules, and favorite routines. Safety is always my top priority, and I pay close attention to details that matter. I am educated on and have handled pet emergencies swiftly; I know who to call, and don't waste any time when there's a concern. If you have a barrel-chested dog, it’ll get a small, controlled amount of water after coming in from the heat so it doesn’t catch bloat. If you have an escape artist kitty, it’ll always be in my arms or in another room when the door is open. I’m also mindful of things like hot pavement, crowded areas, and anything else that could make a pet uncomfortable or unsafe. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big deal. I’ll treat your space with the same respect I’d give my own, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I also own a high-quality digital camera and love sending free, high-quality photos to update you on how they’re doing, silly phone pics included!

“We booked Stone to house sit our dog, Wally, for two weeks, while visiting family for the holidays. We were nervous because it was our first time leaving Wally for that long, but Stone did an excellent job keeping Wally busy and sent us lots of pictures and updates.
