I have been a pet sitter for several years and I plan to continue working with the little ones throughout my education at LBCC as I work towards a career as a radiology technologist. About: I've had cats, dogs, and various other animals (chickens, rabbits, rats, hamsters, fish, cows, goats) since I was a kid. Pets are family, and I am very comfortable with pets of all ages and some special needs. I do work full time (from home, with kids), so depending on location and pet needs... I'm available for drop in care during the day at times and available for house sitting as well. I have a big puppy at home who loves making friends so happy to have company here or bring her along for playdates if your pup enjoys making friends. Every creature is different so I will follow your lead on what is best for your pet. Morning and evening walks with plenty of play in between? Can do! More of a cuddler with short trips outside when necessary? No problem. Somewhere in between? Great. I am comfortable giving oral or topical medications (nothing too invasive unless I know your pet really well, though).

About: I worked at a pet boarding facility for a 7 years before I moved. I am a fast learner and choose to have the pet accept me before moving on to anything else. I shadowed groomers and vets to be sure the road I was taking would assure me happiness with animals and still plenty of time with my own animals. Working with the boarding facility I learned pets are different without there parents and can act differently around them so learning their likes and dislikes personally is a must for me. I want to make sure Pets and Parents are happy with me as help. I want both parties to feel safe, happy, and well rested when staying with me. I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule. I would be able to come for an early morning and evening walk or adventure if needed. I have two dogs that are high energy. We often go to parks, take long walks, or swimming during hot days. I do have a kennel and a large vehicle for transport.

About: Never will I claim to be a dog whisper but I do have a welcoming energy. All too often do I hear "wow, they never act so calm around new people." Animals trust me and seem to gravitate towards me. Our family is the rescue family where people send stray dogs and cats because we have an open door policy. Growing up I had several pets including dogs, cats and hamsters. I volunteer at an equine therapy center where the horses follow me out of shear comfort in my confident presence. The best part of my day is waking up with my girlfriend and walking our dog Rufus with coffee. He just had his 7th birthday and we celebrated it big time with presents and treats!
