About: I have always been “dog” person. I got my first dog when I was 5 and have had multiple dogs since. I was a dog walker for neighbors and friends during adolescence and my teen years. I will make sure your dog is well taken care of! I am currently of of work for the summer because I work for the school district. I have a lot of extra free time to occupy. I have a huge yard and a crate if needed! I also have an 11 year old who loves dogs and would love to interact with some new, friendly puppers.

“Candace is a wonderful dog mom!! From the moment we met I knew Maizie would be in good hands. Candace is warm and nurturing but also aware of the mischief puppies can get into. She sent me lots of photos throughout the day and kept me updated on Maizie’s progress. Maizie had fun meeting the other animals around the farm. We are hoping to leave her for a longer time next time. I know Maizie is looking forward to seeing Candace-mom and her new big brother playmate, Wilbur again. She had a great time!”

About: Hi, I’m Jolene! 🐾 I’ve been working with and caring for animals for over 4 years, I have a variety of experience caring for 100+ dogs, cats, horses, chickens, parrots, and many other animals of the years. My experience includes pet sitting, animal care, handling, enrichment, and training, and I enjoy taking my time getting to know every animal’s unique personality and needs. I’ve had a passion for animals since childhood, I had an array of pets that I learned how to properly care for by reading books in school. When I was 18 years old I started working in a shelter, where I gained hands-on experience with animals from all different backgrounds, temperaments, and breeds. I also have my own Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, Chandler, who I adopted when he was 12 months old after working with him through the shelter. Since then, I’ve trained him myself and we regularly do scent work, sports, and tracking together. Every animal is different and families know their pets best, any information you give regarding their behavior, routine, ect. Is helpful for me to make them feel at home and comfortable when you’re away. Whether they need lots of exercise, play, patience and a slower approach, others may simply like companionship. I’m happy to give them the individual attention they deserve. I can provide walks, playtime, enrichment, basic training, feeding, medication reminders, or just some extra love! My experience administering medication Very. It's done daily at my normal job. I work most days (never weekends) but only for 4-5 hours in the morning. My schedule is also flexible so I can be home whenever is needed. I have a large fenced yard, dog kennels and free roam of the house. My couch is ready for the snuggles and we have kids who are dog friendly to give the love! We also go to the park in walking distance every day for the able pets.

If you're looking for a place where your dog will be treated like a member of the family while you're away, you've come to the right spot. Since the day I was born, I have been surrounded by all sorts of breeds (herding, working, hounds, toys, sporting)…you name it. There isn't a breed or size I don't adore. This has taught me that every dog is uniquely special and I truly love them all. After I recently lost my sweet and wonderful 16.5 year old Blue Heeler, Sooky, I have so much love to share and I'd be thrilled to give it to your fur baby! Whether your dog enjoys running around in my fully fenced yard or snuggling up by the fire when it's cold, they'll get cozy and comfortable care while they are with me. I'm experienced with dogs at all life stages, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. I can also handle things like giving medication or if you're working on commands/hand signals (I trained Sooky by hand signals only…no words) at home, I am more than happy to keep up that consistency while they're here! As a stay at home mom, I'm usually home all day so I can provide lots of company, attention, and affection! Treats are free with your permission! The only times I have to leave are for quick school runs for my kiddos, who are 3 and 6. My kids have been surrounded by dogs since they were born so they love dogs but they also understand some dogs need space and time to acclimate.
