I became a pet sitter because I adore dogs, and I can't have one of my own right now so I'm here to give lots of love and attention to yours! I'm very understanding of dogs that are a little more anxious, and provide them with a calm presence during the stay. Your pet is your family, and I understand what it's like to be away from them, even if you're off doing something fun. I'm responsible, creative, and have been described as an old soul. About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. My kids love dogs and enjoy meeting new ones. We all love that owning dogs helps us to be outside more, either playing with the dogs or taking them on walks. My three children adore dogs and cats, and will give lots of love and attention. We live near parks and have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs are allowed to free range of the house and fenced yard. They are allowed on the couches.

About: Ever since a child I have had an undeniable bond with animals. I’ve worked with all types, birds, horses, dogs, cats, livestock, exotic animals, you name it. Growing up my family was always pet people and they’d say I’m more of a pet person than them all! As a previous rancher, I have tons of experience with medications, veterinary care, and pet care for all species. As an entrepreneur I have all the time in the world for my pets and yours! My schedule is almost always free and ready for you! I own a beautiful 6 year old working line German shepherd, so I specialize in high-energy and protective breeds. I also have experience with low energy dogs, training puppies, and even whelping litters! About: Know what it's like to own dogs since childhood. Tell me what they love, like, and hate. Love to bring gifts for the dog(s) anytime. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. I live in a condo on the ground level with a patio and a view of Mill Creek. I'd prefer to house and/or pet watch at your place.

About: I attended an agriculture-based school from 6th grade until 12th grade, where I was taught veterinary skills, so I have all kinds of knowledge on pets, big or small! I am able to administer meds, monitor for illnesses and issues, and provide support for any needs. I will upkeep your desired training and commands for pets, because consistency is key. I always look forward to meeting new furry friends, and I look forward to forming bonds and trust with pets and customers both. I work part time on my own schedule, so I am available anytime. I have a preference for late night, early mornings, and overnight. I am flexible with my availability and can usually work something out based on customer’s schedules. I am diagnosed with a few physical disabilities, so it is always good for me to exercise and get out of the house. I have experience with allergy needs and always pay attention to details. Safety starts with following directions, and I will do everything that is requested of me. I will treat your pet as I would treat my own and give them top-tier care. She messaged prior to the visit to confirm, and helped me understand the process when I booked. My pup was still a bit nervous, so I didn’t leave her there, but Shauna was very kind, and tried to help her feel comfortable.”

About: I am an experienced veterinary technician and love doing dog AND cat sitting on the side! I live in NE Salem right next to some parks and a school. My yard is fully chain linked fence, about 6 ft tall. I provide access to the yard as needed, I don't leave the pet unattended. My experience administering medication Very. It's done daily at my normal job. I work most days but only for 4 hours in the morning. My schedule is also flexible so I can be home whenever is needed. I have a large fenced yard, dog kennels and free roam of the house. My couch is ready for the snuggles and we have kids who are dog friendly to give the love! We also go to the park in walking distance every day for the able pets.
