“You will not find more attentive and caring hosts than Dan and Dave! Our very anxious older dog was quickly at home with them and their sweet chihuahua, Hoss. Our Maisie was walked twice a day and I was sent pictures and updates each day. I couldn't recommend them more highly! They are wonderful pet hosts!!”

“This is the second time we’ve left Nalu with her for a long period of time. She communicates well and sends videos and pictures throughout the stay! He came home so happy and I was at peace knowing he was well taken care of!”

“I have a very difficult older rescue dog and Jules handled him beautifully! My other dog is an angel but a little shy, and Jules made her feel at home. I didnt worry and loved the updates. Great small dog home away from home.”

“If you need a sitter for your pet don't look for anyone else but Jade!! She made us feel at ease with our meet and greet and is very professional. We were nervous about leaving Maisie with someone but she started sending pictures and videos almost immediately and put us right at ease. We didn't worry the whole time we were gone. Jade is our go to sitter for Maisie from now on!!!!!”

“I'm so glad we met Shelby through Rover. She made us feel so comfortable leaving our senior dog for the night. She was communicative, sent pics, and several updates throughout our dog's stay. We appreciate the love she gave our girl and highly recommend her!”

“Gayle was AMAZING with my fur babies. She was very good at communicating and giving updates and photos during their stay. My babies opened up so much while spending time with her and Sitka. We are very grateful to her for taking such good care of our pups and will gladly book with her again ?”

“Danielle really came through for me at the last minute, I'm so grateful! She was very kind and attentive with my dog, Esther, sending adorable pics and updates. Esther is an anxious girl, but she seemed to relax in Danielle's home, it really put me at ease. Thank you again!”

“We greatly appreciate the loving care that Diana provided to our Senior pup. She needs a lot of TLC and Diana took excellent care of her. She kept us up-to-date with daily pictures and notes on how she was doing. Our pup was happy and calm when we picked her up and had obviously enjoyed her stay.”
“She took wonderful care of my dog, who can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, and handled her with patience and kindness. I received many photos showing my dog happy, comfortable, and enjoying time with her loving family, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear my dog was being treated like part of the family, not just being watched. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to care for their pet.”

“Christina was easy to work with, very responsive and kept us updated the entire time she watched our cat, Gus! I would highly recommend and will definitely hire her again in the future.”

“Jordan is seriously a dog whisperer. His energy and confidence is God send. My dog Cedar can be reactive, barking, jumping, even nipping when meeting people but with Jordan, it was like a completely different dog. Calm, relaxed, and instantly comfortable. I was in total shock. Even around another dog (which normally worries me), Cedar was in dog heaven. No issues at all. I went in nervous and left totally at ease. THANK YOU Jordan for making my vacation that much better. If you’ve got a challenging dog, Jordan is your guy, Just go with Jordan.”

“Shawnee did an amazing job taking care of my cats , they both were comfortable with her right away. She went out of her way to check on a problem we had with our automatic feeder, thankful for that. About: I’ve spent more than 20 years around cats of every temperament, from mellow house companions to high-maintenance personalities. I’ve cared for everything from playful Manx and shy rescues to a proud flame-point Persian who kept me humble through high school. I understand feline boundaries, body language, and the patience it takes to earn their trust. Whether your cat is social, skittish, or simply set in their ways, I’ll keep them comfortable, cared for, and stress-free while you’re away.
“I had a fairly simple set up since the cat box and both dog/cat feeders are automatic, but my tortoise needed a bit of lettuce daily and the dog needed letting out (she has potty pads to use as well). They went above and beyond, came twice a day to break up the silence and give my pets some love,I received multiple pictures and texts to keep in touch about my trip and plans. Even brought in packages left on the porch. My doggie, huge twin kittens and tortoise were all happy and seemed very at ease when I got back. Will definitely use them again and recommend.”

“Kerri has been absolutely fantastic when looking after our kitties. She interacts so well with them and they warmed up to her so quickly which was great to see. The pictures she sent every day showed us that the cats had a wonderful person taking care of them with some brilliant action shots. Kerri was also very communicative and kept an eye on the weather to make sure we were aware of the cooler temperatures. She is an excellent person if you ever need your pets looked after while you are away.”

About: I have taken care of cats and all animals since a very young age! I am very confident in cleaning, feeding, administering medications, even bathing! I used to work at a vet/daycare/grooming job and now work as a veterinary assistant and have been around cats for a long time! I have 3 happy kitties of my own!

“Alyssa cared for our cat, Mocha, for two days and stayed overnight at our home. This was our first time leaving Mocha for an extended period and using a cat sitter, so we were a little nervous but Alyssa put our minds at ease. It was clear that Mocha was comfortable with her—she continued eating, playing, and sleeping normally throughout the weekend. She even seemed to enjoy some in-depth conversations with Alyssa! We received regular updates and photos, which helped us feel connected and reassured while we were away. Alyssa also left our home neat and tidy. Overall, she did a fantastic job caring for both Mocha and our house. We would book with Alyssa again and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: Have 5+ dogs? Energetic kiddos that could benefit from mental stimulation? Couch potatoes that just want love and affection? All of the above? Whatever the case may be, you can rest assured that I will give your baby(ies) the best care and attention I have to give. I worked at a sanctuary for nearly two years and had the pleasure of working with a large pack of dogs. Working and caring for 50+ dogs at a time takes a different kind of attention and patience that definitely took time to learn, but I loved every second of it. I have experience with quite the variety of different dogs. From XS to XL, newborn to senior, fearful to aggressive, anxious to energetic, I’ve seen it all. I can also give medications if necessary, do a basic groom, and basic training. I’m also very comfortable with cats. Aside from having some myself for 8 years, I love learning about a new cat and understanding its habits/personality. I truly love all animals and creatures and am very open to helping care for any other pets you may have. Currently my only job is to be a dog & cat mom so my schedule is very flexible. Aside from recurring appointments that I attend, I’m open to working with what works best for you. I can work with any form of care that you give your babies. Every pet is unique and I can definitely switch gears depending on their personality and if they have specific needs.

About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. My kids love dogs and enjoy meeting new ones. We all love that owning dogs helps us to be outside more, either playing with the dogs or taking them on walks. My three children adore dogs and cats, and will give lots of love and attention. We live near parks and have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs are allowed to free range of the house and fenced yard. They are allowed on the couches.
“This was our first time finding a dog sitter. Tianna was very friendly, knowledgeable and made my wife and I comfortable with the process. Our dog was well taken care of, and will definitely keep Tianna as a favorite for future dog sitting.”

“Ashley is just the best! Maizie came home happy and tired from “preschool.” She and Paco had fun playing together and walking around the block. Maizie was even comfortable enough to take a nap or two, and Maizie ate her food! That never happens! Ashley sent lots of photos and videos. When we return, I know Maizie will be happy to see her friends once again. Thank you for the great puppy care, Ashley!🤗”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of experience, intuition, and calm presence I bring to every animal I care for. I’ve trained my own husky from puppyhood and lived with cats my whole life, so I understand a wide range of behaviors and needs. I don’t rush animals—I read their cues, build trust, and adjust to their comfort level. Whether it’s a long walk or quiet company, your pet will get thoughtful, grounded care that helps them feel safe and understood. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. My own husky keeps me on a steady rhythm of walks, play, and feeding, so adding more pets into that flow feels natural. I plan my day around their needs—morning exercise, midday check-ins, and relaxed evening wind-downs—so your pet’s routine will fit smoothly into mine. I care for pets in their own home the same way I care for mine—with respect, consistency, and calm energy. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine familiar and stress-free. That means keeping feeding times, walks, and play sessions on schedule, giving plenty of attention, and leaving your space as neat as I found it. My goal is for your pets to feel safe and relaxed until you’re home again.

I have very strict rules in place about all animals big or small. I really hope you consider us in your upcoming needs. Happy New Year! I am always home except for appointments which we can discuss and decide if on those days I can meet your pets needs or if another sitter is better. I do not smoke in my home. I have 4 children, all pet trained and pet friendly. I do not have a large or fenced yard BUT I have an absolutely amazing park that abuts to my house so there is plenty of opportunity to run and play. I am at home all day for the entire week so I am able to keep a good schedule for my fury clients. I don’t have a problem with med or potty schedules. I listen to their needs. I watch for cues to hunger or need to potty. I feed and walk my pets or clients pets. When they need bathed I handle that as well. Medications in my house are no problem at all as over the years I’ve learned a lot about injectable and oral medications. “We just finished our first set of walks with Riley and our dog Sahdow is already in love. Knowing he’s availabile for midday walks makes me feel so much better about scheduling out of town travel.”

She was very flexible and was able to keep them for an extra night when my plans changed last minute. We are very grateful to her for taking such good care of our pups and will gladly book with her again ?”

“Appreciate the care & attention Connie has given to my geriatric fur baby. She gives medication as prescribed & he receives lots of attention. She’ keeps in contact with updates so I’m assured he’s doing well.”

“Karlie was very flexible and easy to plan with. Her house is very dog friendly and her pup, Dresden, is a great playmate! Our dog didn’t care when we left at drop off because she was already having so much fun.”

“Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! They went on multiple walks a day, and even a weekend adventure! I will definitely be using Kathrine again in the future!”

“This was my first time using Rover or boarding my dog, so I was quite nervous. Miriam is great! My dog loved her and it is obvious she cares greatly about dogs. She communicates quickly and is easy to work with. Next time I go out of town, I will book my dog with Miriam!”

“Best decision ever! We were nervous about leaving our two dogs with someone we did not know but with one getting older we didn’t want them to be in a kennel and not have interaction with others. We were gone over a week to Hawaii and I received regular updates and pictures. I could tell they were well cared for and having a great time. It was a good peace of mind being so far away. When we got home we could tell the dogs were happy and had a blast meeting their new friends. We love Nicole and we will definitely do this again next time.”

“My beagle stayed with Madlin for 4 days, had an issue with another arrangement while I was out of town and Madlin was able to handle everything (picked up my dog and helped both my beagle's stress and my own with great communication). She was a life saver for me and my dog loved her, would recommend her to anyone in the Salem area.”

“My dog has a great time with Bradley. He seemed very happy and got plenty of attention and activity. Bradley wa great in communication, genuine affection for pups. I’d definitely look to Bradley in the future for dog sitting.”

“Allison and her family were wonderful! We got morning and evening updates each day.🐾 It was evident our dogs were well cared for while we were away. We have a heeler who can have a hard time adjusting to new environments but Allison knew exactly how to handle her. Allison was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to use her again in the near future! 🐶”
