Payton took care of my 11 hens and 14 chicks which goes beyond the call of duty. She collected eggs and topped off food/grit. Oh, also fed my fish. A lot going on here. About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. My kids love dogs and enjoy meeting new ones. We all love that owning dogs helps us to be outside more, either playing with the dogs or taking them on walks. My three children adore dogs and cats, and will give lots of love and attention. We live near parks and have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs are allowed to free range of the house and fenced yard. They are allowed on the couches.

My last foster had major knee surgery and is successfully recovered and is with her forever family! I only work part time. I worked at a sanctuary for nearly two years and had the pleasure of working with a large pack of dogs. Working and caring for 50+ dogs at a time takes a different kind of attention and patience that definitely took time to learn, but I loved every second of it. I have experience with quite the variety of different dogs. From XS to XL, newborn to senior, fearful to aggressive, anxious to energetic, I’ve seen it all. I can also give medications if necessary, do a basic groom, and basic training. I’m also very comfortable with cats. Aside from having some myself for 8 years, I love learning about a new cat and understanding its habits/personality. I truly love all animals and creatures and am very open to helping care for any other pets you may have. Currently my only job is to be a dog & cat mom so my schedule is very flexible.
