FARM SCHEDULE: Typically, dogs are part of my daily routine at home. When I am in the house, they are. About every two hours we are out on the property. I have several inside and outside dog areas available so I am able to keep dogs separate if your dog does not get along with other dogs, is afraid of other dogs, or if I am not directly supervising.

Safety, trust & environment

SAFETY & TRUST Dogs are fed separately and sleep in separate areas of the house at night (dog gates across doorways). Safety is top priority. ☮️ I aspire to create an environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion for human kind—the dogs already have that figured out. 🦮🐩🐕‍🦺🐕 Hablo español y creo en equalidad, diversidad, y justicia. DROP OFF/PICK UP Drop offs and pick ups need to be between 8:00 in the morning and 8:00 at night. To keep every dog’s schedule organized, I appreciate it if you honor the times you booked. I do my best to accommodate changes, but it is not guaranteed. My schedule gets very tight, so if you can’t make the appointment for drop off or pick up, it may mean extra charges. 🚘Please park in the designated space for dog clients. PLEASE STAY IN YOUR CAR. Text me or ring the bell on the sign. I will be with you shortly. Visitors are not permitted to walk the property unattended. Minor children must remain in your vehicle at all times. ‼️Please make sure you have sent photos of current vaccines and flea treatment. This is REQUIRED. 🐾Your dog needs: Their normal food (plus extra just in case) Meds Treats/chewy 🚫Your dog does NOT need: Leash Kennel/crate Food bowls Slow feeder Lick mat Bedding Toys E-collar or bark collars You will get a text from me with the address after the booking has been accepted. The address Rover sends is the dog park, not my home.

Information Elizabeth L. would like to know about your pet

I NEED TO KNOW: In order to meet your pet's needs, I would need to know how you care for them so that I can best approximate that. This would include their daily routine including food, medicine, activities, and schedule. If you are a new client, I will set up a free "meet and greet" before I accept a booking. We can all get to know one another and go over expectations. Clients already in my program can contact me for same day bookings. My prices are based on typical care for a well behaved unmedicated pet. So, special care on my end may require a higher priced boarding package. My extra-care price is typically $55 per night. Some examples include: *Your dog’s fresh food diet requires me to assemble, cut or cook ingredients. *Your dog is an escape risk. *Your dog has high anxiety that will require some extra time, patience and care. *Your dog takes medications or supplements like glucosamine, fish oil, or CBD. If it takes me to administer or monitor in ANY way, I consider this an extra-care pup. *Your dog chews, scratches or pees inside while boarding at my house. *Your elderly dog requires hind-end assistance to potty. HEALTH PROTOCOLS: All dogs need to be potty trained to relieve themselves outside, have current vaccines (rabies & DAPP) and be on a flea treatment. A photo of that paperwork will be required before any dog is allowed on my property. The Bordetella Vaccine is not required but highly recommended. Make sure your dog is dewormed regularly. If there is a health emergency, Stayton Veterinary Hospital will be my first call. As per Rover protocol, all medical bills will be the responsibility of the owner.

A typical day

PLAY TIME: There are several fenced areas on the property for dog playtime. The activities I do with each dog is based on what the client wants for their individual pet. * 1/2 acre field for running and play with other dogs * Giant herding ball * Chuckit for fetch * A whole room for nose-work with a scent wall * Safe giant landscaping rocks for climbing * Agility equipment in an enclosed arena. (Not competition measurements, but still fun) * Sand digging area * A mountain of chewing sticks (all from fruit trees—non toxic) * Reinforcement of commands. I play many dog “games” to remind pets of those important tasks like sit, stay, come, down, up, off, etc. CALM TIME: * Inside movie/cuddle time in the evenings * Inside window seats for watching the world * Lavender essential oil used right before bed so dogs know by smell that it’s time for sleeping * Option of crates (all XL or XXL sized) for sleeping or various dog beds and couches. * For safety, I do not co-sleep with dogs. Only my own dog is allowed in my bedroom. * I don’t close dogs into crates unless requested by the owners as part of their animal’s normal routine (like at bedtime). However, open crates are available so dogs can self-select to use them. * A canine photo studio. Photography is one of my hobbies. Your dog might be my next top model! TREATS: To avoid health and allergy risks, I will only use the treats you provide for your dog. I do not provide treats except for peanut butter and cashew butter (often used for taking pills), so let me know if your dog [or you] has a peanut or cashew allergy.

A farm vacation for your pets!

Pet care experience

I am a retired teacher. I run a small farm with my sassy Chihuahua. So, I can give your pets lots of attention, bathroom breaks, and room to run. I have several fenced areas for the dogs to play and run freely. Your fur babies will get the best of care while you are away. I am also happy to do "doggy day care" while you are at work. NOTE: I will be working a seasonal job May through September. So, pick up and drop off times may need to be adjusted to accommodate.

I’ve reviewed Elizabeth before, but I wanted to continue to let everyone know just how wonderful she is with our dog, Bobby Lee. He is not a fan of riding in cars, but once we’re about a block away from Elizabeth’s place, he gets super excited and happy! He loves going to her place, and that really says it all about how Elizabeth treats all pups she takes care of daily.

Elizabeth took great care of my two dogs (one with special needs). She kept me updated and spent time caring for each dog individually as well as making sure they were included in the pack. Both dogs came home happy and tired. Thank you Elizabeth. We hope to see you again soon.

Bruno and Cooper just had the most amazing day at Elizabeth’s. We have been looking for our new sitter after ours for the past ten years decided to retire from dog sitting/daycare. Elizabeth kept me informed all day through picture updates of our boys having a great time. Our dogs came home happy and tired. Everything we could ask for after a day of playing. Thank you Elizabeth. So happy we found you.

We ended up finding Elizabeth after our usual pet sitting options fell through. All we can say is we wish we had found her sooner! Her experience with animals and care for them was evident from the first moment we met for our pet introduction. What she has created at her home for the dogs she looks after is amazing! From the outdoor pastures to the agility resources to the way dogs are given their own open area to sleep at night, you can tell that animal care is a sincere passion. We have a five year old husky who is seemingly impossible to tire and he has been peacefully zonked since we brought him back home after days and days of playing and running. Elizabeth will be our first call for future boarding needs!
