About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, starting with cats as a kid and later helping with my mother-in-law’s Jack Russell terrier and Siberian husky, as well as my own 100 lb English Lab. During my five years as a rural letter carrier, I earned the nickname "the dog whisperer" for my ability to befriend even wary farm dogs on my routes. Since then, I’ve looked after a mix of local pets, including a reactive Lab-Shepherd and a few energetic pit bull mixes. I’m patient, calm, and consistent, and pets trust me quickly. Pet care fits perfectly into my flexible schedule while I pursue my Master's in Behavioral Health. I value structure and routine, which makes it easy for me to keep pets on their normal schedule. About: Animals have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I've had cats since birth, cared for large dogs for the past 10 years, and have owned snakes and other reptiles for more than 20 years. This experience has given me a great understanding of the unique needs, personalities, and behaviors of many different types of pets. One of my greatest strengths is building trust quickly with animals. I take the time to meet each pet where they are, learn their preferences, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your pet is full of zoomies, or prefers to hide under the bed, I adapt my approach to what works best for them. I understand that pets are family - they are for me too. I am a teacher and am currently off for the summers so my hours are flexible. During the school year I can help weekends and evenings. About: Taking a break from being a pet foster to pet sit again. I was a vet tech for 8 years and I have owned pets for 30 years. I can administer any medications needed. I will also watch dogs that have behavioral issues and I have no breed restrictions. My schedule provides the ability to watch puppies and provide them with the frequent play and bathroom breaks they need. I can also take your pet to any appointments they may have while you are out of town. I am unable to watch pets in my home. I will take your dog on hikes with me if you want or will take them on a stroll in your neighborhood. My work allows me to work from home so when I am pet sitting, I am able to spend a lot of time with your pet. When I am taking care of someone's pet, I treat them as if they were my own. I know that keeping their routine helps to minimize any stress of their owner being away.

About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. I have a fenced-in yard and 2 friendly dogs (lab and border collie mix) to keep your furry loved one company! I also play music often for myself and for the dogs. I find it helps soothe some anxiety for them as well!
