About: Ever since I was little I have loved animals, so much so that when I was 12 I convinced my mother to let me get a dog, despite her fears of them. I raised, trained (haphazardly 😅), and groomed my dog from a puppy to an adult till she died of heart worms. After, I adopted my sister’s dog when she no longer wanted her. Grooming and taking care of her till I went off to college taught me a lot about caring for an older dog. In between dogs and even now I help my friends with their cats, feeding, grooming, and watching over them when their owners are out of town. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets and I am ready to tackle whatever yours may throw at me! I work part time mornings throughout the week so after I get off I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets. I can devote a great deal of time to walking or sitting. The more time you need the more time I get to spend with your cute fur babies making it a win/win. Typically I like to feed pets around every 3-5 hours, but I am perfectly capable of adhering to any sort of schedule or rules you may have regarding feeding times. I am extremely flexible so if there are any specifics when it comes to the care of your pet I will have little to no problem sticking to your routine.

I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, so I do my best to stick closely to their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), litter box care, potty breaks, and any other instructions you provide. Building trust with both pets and owners is very important to me. I know every pet has a different personality and comfort level, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, or need extra patience. I take the time to help pets feel comfortable while making sure they are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I also take pride in being respectful of your home and keeping things clean, tidy, and exactly how you left them so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone.

Before we left Indy had a cut on his foot that required him to wear a bag on his foot and to be wiped with medicine after returning inside. Since this happened the day before we left we didn’t really have a chance to get him used to the process. Matt went above and beyond to care for Indys paw injury and kept us updated. About: Grew up surrounded by animals, taking care of them is second nature to me. I was raised helping my grandma foster kittens, even helped rehab a bird that fell from our tree. I’ve pet sat for friends and family over the years, regularly walk my aunt’s dog, and have experience house sitting. I also have two dogs of my own, one that is high needs so I am comfortable with more attentive care. I spent time volunteering at an animal sanctuary and even briefly for the SPCA in high school. Overall, I am used to being around all kinds of animals and making sure they are loved and cared for. Currently in between jobs so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am available from 10am-5pm & 8pm-11pm (if needed) Monday-Friday. I am available 9am-6pm on Saturday’s. Sunday’s I may have availability upon request. I am very attentive to your pet’s needs. They will always be securely leashed and I will always adhere to the requests given by pet parents :)
